Tell us the headcannons!!!!!
hey!! sorry for the late reply, i got busy with finals and got a little carried away writing this.
one thing i would like to preface before we dive in: i have only seen the first season (39 episodes) of the show because that’s all i got to watch when i was a kid. i don’t know any of the new characters past that point. if i get some lore stuff wrong forgive me.
ANYWAYS. to start with, here are my takes on their designs (they are not perfect. be nice) + their sexuality and gender
sexuality: DYKE. lesbian. girlkisser. this girl loves women.
- sexuality: i can't fully imagine him as straight, but he does have a preference for women tho.
(his design is already perfect)
- sexuality: no man …? (you decide)
now that’s out of the way, i like to think that a lot of people in slugterra have piercings and tattoos so here are my hcs for the gang:
- piercings on both nostrils. two on both earlobes, as well as a helix on both ears and an outer conch on her left ear.
- wants tattoos (she is thinking about getting one that’s like a spiderweb or something related to her favorite films)
- noticed a lot of people in slugterra have piercings, especially the shane gang, so to not feel left out, he got his ears pierced (kord does it for him).
- i feel like he owns a tattoo pen and enjoys coming up with designs and tattooing from time to time. some of his tattoos are done by him.
- trixie has asked him to tattoo her, they haven’t found the time to schedule it tho.
- he has ear gauges, a vertical labret, a septum and two eyebrow piercings.
- claims to be “above” tattoos, but one day the gang catches a glimpse of a very corny arrow heart tattoo with someone's name inside it on his shoulder plate.
pronto: it’s a very long story that will bore you in a matter of seconds!
trixie: pronto, i have never, EVER, wanted to hear you speak this badly in my entire life
- they are all really into punk, alternative, hip-hop and metal (except for pronto, who listens to classical music).
- they have music playing whenever they’re at the hideout and pronto complains about how it’s too ‘loud’ and just ‘gibberish’, so sometimes pronto plays some of his classical vinyls. kord and trixie don’t mind, in fact they like it as well, since they’re both pretty big music nerds, meanwhile eli finds it a bit under-stimulating.
- they go to concerts when they have the free time. eli is new to them and so the plan, at first, was for him to stick with the gang because the crowd could get too rowdy. however, he somehow ends up crowd-surfing his way into the stage with the band.
- kord listens to music while working on their mecha-beasts, blasters or other devices.
- pronto is actually a great cook but since his dishes have bugs, the rest of the gang will never get to appreciate his cooking.
- eli can’t cook for shit (although he can make a good pizza with stunts). sometimes they have pizza nights where eli tries to teach them how to do those tricks. (the kitchen ends up a mess) (that’s why they rarely have pizza nights).
- pronto and kord love food but their tastes are not similar.
- trixie loves spicy food.
- eli has a sweet tooth. likes spicy food as well.
- kord loves soups. any type of soup is welcome (except for the soups pronto cooks)
- they rarely use their kitchen for cooking though, since they are out a lot and come back home tired. (they order take out instead)
(there's a big chance i got the floorplan wrong but like.. we are never shown anything past the living room and the garage so i can do whatever i want)
- has two twin size beds. above them are some shelves, in which trixie has her dvd collection, some books, her filming equipment, a photo book of her family and cds.
- on his shelf, eli has comic books, a journal, slug tubes and a picture frame of his dad.
- trixie’s side of the room has a wall covered with posters of her favorite bands and films, plus a few of her sketches.
- eli’s side has posters of bands as well, pictures of him and the gang and some of trixie’s art (cool drawings of duels and slugs).
- when they saw their wanted posters, trixie was like:
trixie: dude we look sick. (beat) we're taking these home.
eli: hell yeah.
and now they’re part of their room’s decoration.
- there’s a desk that faces one of the round windows. they both use it for drawing or writing (trixie is the one that uses it the most though)
- eli’s side of the room is the messiest of the two. he has an absurd amount of socks laying on his bed and floor because his slugs sleep inside the socks. (in a hurry he has put on a sock that joules was sleeping in, shocking him in the act) (this has happened at least 4 times) (neither eli or joules is a fan of that).
- trixie’s room is not entirely tidy, but she tries to keep some order. (hates that eli leaves his clothes on the ground— they fight about that often).
- they share a closet. they take each other’s clothes— and sometimes it’s fine but other times it causes a short fight.
- kord and eli shared a room during the first week the gang lived in the hideout, but that was short lived because kord snores loudly and eli absolutely couldn’t stand it, so he ending up moving into trixie’s room.
- it’s on the first floor. kinda looks like the garage.
- his bed is bigger than the rest.
- he has a window that faces the cliffs and giant mushrooms (he loves it).
- has a smaller wardrobe.
- added a bigger desk where Eli’s bed used to be to create blueprints for the mecha’s upgrades.
- he is relatively tidy. (tbh i don't think anyone in the shane gang could be consider extremely tidy. like, they're all a little messy)
- has slugball equipment stored somewhere.
- his walls are covered with blueprints, mecha-beast designs, slugball posters and pictures of the gang. he also has a few maps of the cave troll caverns that pronto gifted him once.
- on the third? floor. he has a little balcony that looks out into the living room, which makes him feel important. (apparently the wiki suggests those are the bathrooms but i chose to ignore that)
- his room is the smallest.
- there’s a ceiling window and it has a beautiful view.
- has a bunch of shelves with books (cooking books, fiction books) and stacks of maps rolled up.
- being the tracker of the group, there’s a dedicated wall in his room with a huge map of all of slugterra and its 99 caverns (with pins and strings marking routes and hotspots).
- pages littered all over the floor.
- has way too many boxes, crates, bags, etc fillied with random stuff he collects because he's a hoarder.
- he also has a crown. somewhere.
- if letterboxd existed in slugterra trixie would be a letterboxd user. she doesn’t know of the existence of Mad Max (2015), but if she did, that would 100% be her favorite movie.
- they would all enjoy jackass (and suggest to try some of the stunts)
- trixie plans movie nights and sometimes she tries to push the gang into watching something a little more "pretentious" but she never wins. they end up watching comedies, horror movies, action flicks or b movies. the slugs cuddle with them.
- they all love fighting games. trixie is really good at them and only plays as the female characters.
- kord loves playing but isn’t as skilled.
- eli sometimes spams a combo until his opponent is dead only because it pisses trixie off.
trixie: eli, this is NOT how you’re supposed to play. STOP.
eli: well, the developers programmed these combos into the game so i’m allowed to use them, right?
trixie: i’m going to end you.
- i think they’d like platformers too. many, many rage quits and crash-outs have occurred because of them. kord, the chillest guy you’ll ever know, is actually the one that gets frustrated by them the most, followed by trixie. (one time, in a burst of anger, kord almost shot the tv and trixie managed to capture it with her camera. they bring up this moment a lot and laugh about it).
- it is rare for eli to lose his temper to a videogame, but it has happened before.
- there's probably a FIFA-like game but instead of fútbol it's slugball and despite kord being the biggest fan of the sport, he is still beaten by trixie most times.
- pronto either plays those mobile games that cause a gambling addiction or solitare (badly).
other headcanons that don’t fit into a category!
- when i said they're punk in a previous post, it goes beyond their fashion sense or music preferences; and they align with what the culture stands for (anti-authoritarianism, anti-corporatocracy, a do-it-yourself ethic, anti-corporate greed, direct action, etc) (pronto is a little bit of a consumerist tho)
- trixie loves to create (wether it’s documentaries, silly videos, doodling, designing her own clothes out of scraps/thrifts finds, fanzines, designing tattoos, etc). she made the spike choker and bracelts herself.
- she also enjoys experimenting with her style and makeup ever so often. she has dragged a few members of the gang into her experiments as well.

eli and trixie are sitting across eachother on eli's bed with a few makeup products scattered around them. trixie is adding a shimmer top coat to his black nails.
eli: why am i always the one you chose for this? not that i'm complaining
trixie: i did kord's makeup once but he had a nasty allergic reaction to it. also, he says painting his nails is pointless because they chip off pretty fast when he's working in the garage.
eli hums.
eli: what about pronto?
trixie: i haven't-
trixie looks up at eli.
trixie: okay. once your nails dry off we're doing a makeover for pronto.
*insert pronto in drag or whatever*
- kord is strict about recycling.
- they all have fucked up sleeping schedules. like, if one of them can't sleep and goes to the kitchen to find a snack or a glass of water the chances of seeing someone else doing the exact same thing are high. (lots of sweet late-night chats have occured because of it)
