Okay, nope, I’ve got it. In Panem, premarital sex has been outlawed with one exception: the Reaping. For one night each year, anyone over 18 is allowed to indulge in their sexual proclivities. While Katniss typically abstains, this is the year she’s decided to explore her feelings for her best friend, Gale Hawthorne.
Only problem is she’s locked in a supply closet with Peeta Mellark with no way out till the morning.
Speaking of bad fic ideas, I recently watched Eternity on a plane and worked out a verrrrry loose crossover…
At seventeen, Katniss looses her sister and in her grief, she makes some questionable decisions that leave her pregnant and married to near stranger, Peeta Mellark. Now, 20 years later and on the cusp of having an empty nest, Katniss wonders if she and Peeta ever would have gotten together if it weren’t for the baby. She wakes up in another life where her sister is still alive and her husband is the boy behind the bakery counter that she exchanges shy glances with. Will she find out if it would have happened anyway?

Update on the new Netflix figure skating show (Finding Her Edge.) First, it’s not good. Second, it’s supposed to be based on Persuasion, but in an attempt to rip off Cutting Edge and maximize all the tropes, they accidentally made a William Elliott/Anne crack fic.
