Okay BVB is releasing a perfume and I’m losing my fucking mind and actually NEED to talk about this cause I have close to 100 perfumes and have a 10+ year collection (not the flex yall think cause I’ve spent a diabolical amount of money on this)

The BVB perfume is the first one in a while that has intrigued me this much. It’s probably because I don’t think anyone expected this from them. I also think it’s nice that whoever the perfumer is actually stuck to the BVB imagery, vibe and aesthetic cause these notes are exactly how I imagined a BVB scent. Catholic incense? Red wine? Leather? This is so fucking BVB and it’s sickening 🥹

HOWEVER, I think some of the notes like “stage fog” (probably just some kind of sweet note?) and “charred altar wood” (most likely just burnt wood) is lwk gimmicky. But niche perfume houses like Cursed Fragrances have done these kind of names for regular notes for ages to tell a story and to fit the vibe of the perfume houses and in this case BVB.

Do I need another perfume? Absolutely not. Is it a risky blind buy? Yes. Will I buy it once they get international shipping sorted? Absolutely.
