One of my most experimental abstracts has been accepted into an abstract art show. I always appreciate the love but have to remind myself that it is the act of creation I most enjoy, not the final product.

there is nothing more encouraging than getting into another art show. The possibility of winning or selling some work reminds me that as hard as I am on myself, the art world isn’t about internal perception but rather giving yourself over to the rest of the world.
