“You claimed that the Fire would only touch you for a few numbered days, and that time has now passed, but you are staying here forever.”

● {Tafsīr at-Tabārī (v. 1, p. 381)}
If you set your affairs right with Allah, He will set right your affairs with everyone else.
I contemplated the state of the sick: pain strips away his patience, hunger weakens his strength, thirst exposes his distress, and fever takes away the spirit of his vitality. Then I realized that man is too weak to endure affliction, and in greatest need of his Lord’s mercy
It is reported that Qatadah (rahimahullah) said:
Verily the Quran guides you to your disease and your treatment. As for your disease, it is your sins and as for your treatment, it is to seek the forgiveness of Allah (istighfaar).
[al-Bayhaqi (rahimahullah) in Shu’ab al-Iman, 9:347, no. 6745]
Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun, tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anna O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive us.
وكُلَّما كَبُرَ همُّ الحياة في قلوبنا هَوَّنهُ القُرآن.
And whenever the burdens of life grow heavier in our hearts, the Quran eases them.
حب
When the years are flown by
The flowers have wilted
And you have finally exhausted life
You will learn to realise that the richest thing a person could have is... Love.
Nothing else would matter.
There is nothing else you would yearn for but a soul that was written to be yours and your soul with them.
Abū Ad-Dardā (radhiAllahu anhu) said:
“The peak of īmān is four characteristics: Patience with the judgment, being pleased with the Qadar, sincerity in tawakkul and submitting to the Allah ‘azza wa jalla.”

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (radhiAllahu anhu) said:
The Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: ‘May Allah have mercy on a man who gets up at night and prays, and wakes his wife, and she prays; and if she refuses he sprinkles water in her face. And May Allah have mercy on a woman who gets up at night and prays, and wakes her husband and he prays; and if he refuses, she sprinkles water in his face.’”

Advice of Sheikh Ibn Baz (rahimahullah) regarding crying from the fear of Allah ﷻ
The believer should be incited to cry from the fear of Allah and to cry from the fear of Allah when reciting the Qur'an and when he hears a reminder. He should treat his soul (by obeying Allah) so that he is able to cry from the fear of Allah due to what it contains from following the footsteps of the righteous and due to what it contains from hoping for Allah's Forgiveness and Promise that He enters him into Paradise and be saved from Hellfire. And so that he may be from the seven whom Allah will shade in His shade (on the day of judgement). Allah says regarding the righteous:
“And they fall down on their faces weeping and it increases their humility” [Isra:109].
He (Allah) also says:
“Then at this statement do you wonder?. And you laugh at it and weep not. Wasting your lifetime in pastime and amusements” [Najm :59-61]
Sufyan At-Thawri (rahimahullah) said:
"I am happy when the night comes, just so I don't have to see people"
[Hilyat al-Awliyā (2/372)]
Subhanal-lahi wabihamdih, AAadada khalqihi warida nafsih, wazinata AAarshih, wamidada kalimatih. ‘How perfect Allah is and I praise Him by the number of His creation and His pleasure, and by the weight of His throne, and the ink of His words.’
Anas ibn Mālik (radhiAllahu anhu) said:
"I never smelt ambergris or musk as fragrant as the fragrance of the body of Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and I never touched brocade or silk and found it as soft as the body of Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)"

ʿAmārah ibn Zḥadhān related: Kahmas ibn al-Hasan said to me:
"I committed a sin for which I have been crying in regret for forty years." I asked: "What was it?" He said: "A friend of mine visited me once so I bought for him a fish (to serve it to him). After he ate I stood up and took a piece of mud from the wall of my neighbour so he can use to wash his hand. This sin [taking the piece of mud without asking the permission of my neighbour] is what I have been crying about for forty years."
Hilyah al-Awliyāʾ (6/211)
Sheikh Ibn Bāz (rahimahullah) said:
"If the 'Aqidah is not sound, all actions and words are void."
