was reading through this subreddit full of diehard mandela effect believers, who genuinely truly believe that they are in a parallel universe, and it's actually so fascinating to me. literally all of the posts are 1) people misremembering a minor detail in a logo/painting/song/photograph and deciding that the only possible explanation is multiverse travel, or 2) straight up not knowing about an aspect of the world, and deciding the logical explanation is NOT that they have gaps in their knowledge like a normal person, but multiverse travel. i simply can't understand conspiracy brain.
