“Yeah,” Jenna said with a sign. Whatever, if her sister wanted to get her heart broken, that was her problem. She looked over at Jamie, a sly smile pulling at her lips as she eyed him up and down. “What about you, though? Hm? You lookin’ for somethin’ serious?”
Jamie’s eyebrows shot straight up and for a heartbeat, he looked gobsmacked. He wasn’t used to being flirted with, particularly without any effort of his own, but he fell into suit easily enough.
“Not too serious,” he admitted, smiling. The way Jenna looked him over didn’t go by unnoticed; it made Jamie’s head go a little fuzzy. “But I’m no run ‘round either. What are you lookin’ for?”

Klaus shivered a little at the faint smell of the fire he would bet had killed this kid, and he tried to keep his eyes away from the lingering signs of burns that poked out of his clothing. “Uh… yeah,” he said, knowing there was no use hiding it; many ghosts had known him on sight even before he accepted his power, and word had done nothing but spread since he’d begun helping the dead. “I am. Can I help you…?”
“Yeah, I’m lookin’ for my brother,” he said. “I thought you were him.”
And they do look similar, Jamie realized, more than just at a distance. Klaus has the same height, the same long, lanky frame, the same eyes... Fucking hell, the longer he looked, the more he saw that Klaus was almost the spitting image of Nathan.
“I heard some stuff t’ru the grapevine about what he’s been up to,” he explained. “And I think I need to talk to ‘im, but I can’t find him. You think y’can help me?”

Jenna glanced back to Jamie, seeing the look on his face. Maybe talking shit about his brother wasn’t the best way to communicate with him, but God, she hated Nathan so much it was kind of hard to stop. She took a deep breath crossing her arms.
“Someone’s got to. Nova’s a sweet person, she sees the world through rose-colored glasses. She can’t notice a red flag to save her life,” Jenna said with a shrug. “Full-offence to your brother, but… he’s nothing but red flags.”
“He’s forward, yeh,” Jamie agreed. He remembered well enough how Nathan had talked about the girls at the bar, and how all had turned him down. Jamie was no expert on girls, but he knew better than to throw yourself at them dick-first. “If your sister’s lookin’ for somethin’ serious, I guess he wouldn’t be my first pick.”
