“Really? Offering to kill me again? You do this all the time and I’m growing very tired of your empty threats, Ace. I can’t handle your bullshit lies for much longer.”
“You’d like to think they’re empty threats, though honestly, I prefer to kill when the victim isn’t expecting it. Sticking you in the gut whilst you’re watching, wouldn’t be satisfying. Lies? Complained about by the compulsive liar, how rich.”
“Then sleep in my room or something, it’s not like anyone is going to find you and I’m super alert, so I could stand watch for you, in case you actually wanted to sleep. Yeah, it feels weird… Because I’m actually trying to get better”
“I sleep naked, I can’t have you taking advantage of me whilst I’m sleeping. You’re probably the only one in here who’s trying, good on you.”
“A mammoth? Those are extinct, so you calling me that is calling me rare, so I can’t help but take that as a compliment. Thanks buddy!”
“They’re supposed to be extinct, and I can only feel and sheer need to fully eradicate them. Looks like I’m going to have to kill you.”
“Constant aggravation? How do you figure that?”
“Your voice rings inside my head and I have a constant need to rip your tongue from your mouth.”
“Hey.”
“It seems you’ve come to but bore me once more. Congratulations, you’ve succeeded already.”
“Wanna know a secret?” A mischievous smile played on her face as she opened a small bag, her pills filled the brim of the pink purse.
“No. What I do want to know is the reason behind your constant aggravation. You’re like a fly that wont piss off.” He sighed, placing his head in his hand.
“Oh I know that, but I’m sure you could go where no one would suspect you would have gone to, duh or you could get a friend and do shifts. Well yeah, I’m not slowly killing myself any more so there’s one but I’m constantly trying to fight the urge but oh well”
“I have a girlfriend whom shares a room with me, but all she does its sleep. So shift-sharing isn’t particularly possible. A small step for man, a giant leap to a drug-free system.”
“Aw, that’s so hurtful, I’d cry if I didn’t love the way I look, or if I gave a shit about the words that come from your mouth.”
“Ouch, I’m torn. But seriously, if you love looking in the mirror to see a mammoth, I almost pity you.”
“Sleep where no one would find you then, everyone needs sleep, even psychopath’s. It’s my replacement for the drugs and alcohol, so at the moment yes”
“You’d be shocked to know that you can get no privacy around here. At least if I’m awake during the night, they can’t sneak up. I’m practically nocturnal these days. I suppose it’s a better alternative, so good for you.”
Austin scrunched up his nose and frowned, looking over at where his pad had landed. “N-No I-I’m n-no-ot… J-Jus-st l-leav-ve m-me a-al-lon-ne” He spoke almost inaudibly as he shook his head once again, refusing to believe what this stranger believed of him.Â
He turned to look upon the male, a devilish smirk etched upon his face. “You’re doing it again. You’re practically begging for me to stay and continue terrorizing you. I’m truly honored.” He rolled his eyes, perching himself to sit beside him. “So what shall we do? We can tear your books apart, perhaps we could kill some nurses. Hell, I’ll even place all the blame on you, because I’m kind.”
“That makes sense, for you anyway and I don’t know, too full of caffeine probably”
“I can’t have anyone seeking revenge and deciding to target me whilst I’m sleeping. I’m guessing you’re an avid coffee drinker?”
Austin emitted a noise of distress before shrinking back into the seat and frowning, shaking his head. “G-Giv-ve i-it b-bac-ck… P-Pl-leas-se” He murmured whilst shifting in his seat as he sat there uncomfortably, playing with his hands before glancing up at the other male.Â
He was quick to throw the item over his shoulder, allowing it to hit the floor with an idle thud. “You’re practically sitting there, asking for someone to mess with your mind. Your stuttering is a form of weakness and your posture screams insecurity. I almost pity you, but I’m incapable of such favor.”
“Fair enough then I suppose, why couldn’t you sleep?”
“Sleep is another form of letting your guard down, and I’d rather not do that. Why couldn’t you sleep?”
