anyway. misc matt engarde thoughts that i’m not sure anyone else will find funny

- 21 is still absolutely well within the age range to play the himbo love interest of the week on whatever the in universe equivalent of icarly or victorious is. matt has done this

- on a related note i think he was a child/teen star for global studios and probably got into the industry through nepotism

- you know the whole bit about how it being revealed that he was dating celeste would be terrible for his reputation, and how that makes a lot less sense when he doesn’t have an idol contract that prohibits dating? you remember the whole thing where the jonas brothers wore purity rings? yea exactly that. i’ve been thinking this for a really long time but couldn’t think of a funny way to phrase ‘i think matt engarde wears a purity ring’

- for the record he’s still a whore but that’s canon

- feel like this used to be a more popular headcanon but the idea that him and desiree are cousins is still extremely funny

- i think that the camera in juan’s room wasn’t a one-off thing i think this is just something he does with people. adrian and juan’s houses are both aggressively bugged and they both at least suspect this

- would say ‘kind of a milf. reblog’ unironically. would say this about dee vasquez

- have made this one clear in a previous post but he has at least one kids choice award. he is extremely concerned as to whether this can be revoked due to a first degree murder charge

PHOENIX WRIGHT’S BIRTHDAY IS ON OCTOBER 11TH

I JUST DID A LOT OF RESEARCH AND HAVE CONFIRMED THAT PHOENIX WRIGHT’S BIRTHDAY IS ON EITHER OCTOBER 11 OR 12. PROBABLY THE 11TH.

So on October 12, 2018, he was 26. (Check his profile in the Stolen Turnabout). 

On October 10, 2026, he was 33 (Turnabout Succession). This means that on October 10, 2018, he was 25. Meaning that his birthday is either on the 11th or the first day of the Stolen Turnabout. Since his birthday isn’t mentioned, we can assume that his birthday is on the 11th!

(note: Dual Destinies forgets this fact. But up until that, it was completely consistent.)

things to note:

klavier playing with his hair is more or less canon as his perceive thing. it happens in the anthology, but it’s also what apollo catches him on in the AA5 DLC (the one that wasn’t released outside of japan)

klav seems to have been suspicious about his brother for YEARS as shown in 4-4

the game carefully mentions that both brushel and misham felt like they were being watched, and that zak had been running off around the world constantly putting road behind him since his disappearance (not entirely unlike touring with a band hmm!)

klavier doesnt break up the gavinners solely bc of daryan. there are at LEAST three or four months between turnabout serenade and turnabout succession

klavier is shown to be kinda anal about a lot of things and tends to worry about stuff that might not make sense to other people. he totally loses it over his keys going missing until he figures out why. anything remotely suspicious where he cant track it back to someone he trusts seems to set him off (ie apollo eavesdropping on his phone call is easily forgiven but his things suddenly suspiciously going missing and not working with no reason sends him into Panic Mode)

anyway its all but canon in my mind now that the band largely became a front for klavier to get away from his fear that kristoph would kill him

Playing Apollo Justice AA right after PLvsAA was one of the best ways I could have enjoyed both games. So have this silly little comic that's been rattling around my brain for a few days, because you know Trucy and Layton would adore each other
