Food? I love food! Can we get food? Pleeeeaaasssse!?
Sure. I can go for some food right now. Anything you have a taste for?
Please do! I get kind of frustrated when it comes to looking for PokĂ©mon â so finding a Dratini would drive me insane.
No need to panic. Though I've heard that catching a Dratini is not the easiest thing in the world.
Gonna need myself a mini support group as I try to catch myself a Dratini. Just to make sure I donât go crazy or anything. Theyâre rare, I heard.
When does the Safari Zone open, anyway?
Mind if I just tag along? I doubt you need a support group for the Safari Zone.
Oh, just reasons. *tries waving it off* Lets go exploring!
[snickers] Alrighty then.
Where to first? You have the food court, clothing store, a Pokemon adoption shop... You pick.
There was nothing to do now about it however. It happened and she couldnât go back in time to fix it. But she had a feeling Jax would be alright, the journey he had with the group seemed to have helped him grow a bit. He didnât seem as reserved as they progressed, or that was because they seemed to form a more trusting bond. Whatever the case was, it was alright. But Brienne still had to focus her concern on the group now, and to make sure a stunt like that wouldnât be pulled off again.
"Ah!" Flinching when Axel snatched the treats from her hands, she looked up at him before creasing her brows in. With a slight pout, she puckered her lips together before blowing out in irritation. Of course, leave it to Axel to turn into Emeril when it came to PokĂ©mon food. "Only the finest, hm?" Letting him keep what he took from her, Brienne simply reached for another on the shelf. "Thatâs good, but maybe I want the same for my pals too." Looking over at the decently short line, Brienne shook her head. "Nah, Iâm fine. Letâs go!"
Axel looked at Brienne, picking up another box from the shelf, even after saying that he does prepare something for them. He shrugged, probably finding that she will figure out that he got enough for her Pokemon too. "Well, I guess I didn't say that I can make some for your team too. I mean, unless you don't want to." He smirked, placing the boxes on the counter for scanning. "Oh and I don't hand out recipes." He winked before turning to the old lady now smiling at him.
They keep people in check and make them easy to manipulate, yes.
[chuckles] Manipulation huh? What makes you think that you are not being manipulated now?
Watching Axel as he talked about Jax, Brienne couldnât help but frown. They were both getting very close and it was hard for both of them to have to watch one of their friends leave them. However, she knew theyâd keep in touch, even if he wasnât traveling with them anymore. She wished he didnât go so soon however, they could have worked out a much better system because the whole issue in Pewter City was ready the Guardiansâ faults. They werenât careful enough and didnât prioritize the real reason they were all here as their assigned role. She had to be more cautious now, not even for her sake but for everyone elseâs.
"Hopefully he is. Itâs so different without him around â I donât like it." It was weird for the Guardian to say the least. There were a few members in the group that she really considered friends and having one leave was rough. She couldnât control it however, it was all Jaxsonâs decision and thatâs what he decided to do. Watching Axel choose what he needed, Brienne couldnât help but stare impressed at the package of treats. Taking them from him, she searched around the container before nodding. "No shit. Then Iâll have to get her one so she stops harassing you." She flashed the other trainer a winning smile before laughing.
Axel knew that he had to shrug of the feelings he had towards Jax, though he was really part of the reason he stayed. Looking back, maybe he should've done more for his friend, or maybe not. Whatever he was Axel just hoped that he was safe and taking care of himself. The last thing he wanted was for Jax to lose his mind going around kissing every person that he came even remotely close to.
Chucking at the thought, he then pushed it away to focus back on the sole reason he stayed, Brienne. He quickly plucked the box from her hand, adding another to his stock in a little basket he picked up nearby. "Oh just you wait Ms. Onderko. These are just the base for what I give to my little friends. You think I just give them this." He smirked, picking up one more box for good measure, he had the money from the contest. And, he didn't know when he would be able to get more.
"Now, anything else you need or can we check out?"
I have to brothers. I dont talk to them much though. *shrugs*
Why is that? I'm curious...
*smiles* Thats good. Thats so good to hear.
Family is important.
You have any brothers or sisters? Or is it just you?
With a smirk, Brienne caught sight of the first store she found for PokĂ©mon food and slid in. It was a smaller store and more homey, if that was possible anyway. She wasnât sure what Axelâs team was into when it came to eating so she found herself wandering through the closest aisle to the entrance. âIâm glad too, itâs easier when there are no problems. And I donât have to worry as much about you guys, after everything that went on.â She didnât want to think of thatâŠÂ fiendish group. They made her angry and she was so disgusting that they could just unnerve living beings like that.
Brienne exhaled quietly out her nose at Axel before frowning. âI think he couldnât take that, you know? Cocoa getting stolen and everything. I donât blame him for leaving. I miss having him around though.â She replied sincerely, pondering over her friend before looking up at Axel before trying to smile. âBut weâll be okay.â
Axel gazed the aisles, figuring that the food he usually got was not even here. Though the store was a bit more out of the wall than others, it probably did not carry what he was looking for. There were many packages of food that he has tried for his Pokemon in the past, many in fact. But these were the best, in his opinion, of course.
But, when he heard of Jax and how he just couldn't handle it, he slumped a bit. Axel really did miss having him around, his company and innocence. Thankfully, Brienne hadn't walked out either. "I just hope he's doing alright." Axel gave a small smile to her across the aisle, wary about showing too much vulnerability in such a public place. He shrugged, "As long as he is doing well."
Axel spotted he was looking for and smirked. "Found you." He commented softly. He then picked up a box of the Pokemon snacks. and displayed it in his hands to Brienne. "And, this is the stuff that your little girl loves so much. Or, the start of it."
Awwww! *cooing intensifies* Thats too cute! And you all get along all right, right?
I wouldn't say that we are the greatest of companions. But, I do care for them a lot.
Someone needed to teach them a lesson, and I was more than happy to oblige.
No, no, it wasnât something nearly as pleasant.
Lessons are good. They keep people in check.
Awww! A baby sister! Oh my god thats so cute! Aww, youre a big brother!
Actually a big brother of seven sisters and a little baby brother.
Oh, thats super cool!
Really? Thats so cool! Maybe weâre soul sisters or something! *giggles*
Given she is only five. That would be quite interesting if you two were.
I once knew a guy who did that. He got what he deserved.
I'm sure he did.
And, it wasn't a plate of cookies right?
O really? What kind of stories?
Yup! Lolli is my baby girl! Shes an eevee.
Just stories of how wonderful this store is. And, how people just love going there. You know, the usual...
Oh an Eevee. My little sister has an Eevee, she's quite a handful. Well, both of them are.
"No it is not." Women were scary, even if Brienne was one. The lengths theyâd go to for the littlest things could be deemed insane. But they did it anyway and she wouldnât question it too much. Once the escalator brought the two up to the next floor, she hopped off it before addressing Axelâs question.
"Really, Iâm not supposed to say anything, everythingâs tight lipped. But everythingâs running smooth as of right now, and thatâs all that matters to me. We should be leaving Celadon soon though, I canât think of the next town weâll be getting to. It may be Fuchsia though." With that, the Guardians shrugged her shoulders before scanning all of the stores they passed until she could find one strictly for PokĂ©mon food or items.
Axel passed a chuckle at the response from the Guardian. He knew that everything was tip top secret, but he was willing to chance getting a little more information than was supposed to be released. But, Brienne, of course, was did her job well. "Well, I'm glad everything is going well. Don't want any issues..." His words trailed off as he spotted a store that might be what he was looking for. The Ace Trainer went in, waiting for the other to catch up.
While looking, He quirked up, reminded of something. "Ever know what happened to Jax? Looks like he just picked himself up and left..."
