That feeling you get when you want to tell someone how you feel, but then you start to overthink like how you may annoy that person with how you feel, or you think they may not care, you’re scared of what they might say, so then you just decide to not say anything at all because that’s what you think is best thanks to the overthinking.

It’s funny how fast things can change, in the matter of a blink of an eye even…
And then I felt sad because I realized that once people are broken in certain ways, they can’t ever be fixed, and this is something nobody ever tells you when you are young and it never fails to surprise you as you grow older as you see the people in your life break one by one. You wonder when your turn is going to be, or if it’s already happened.

Supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.

"Nearly every man who develops an idea works it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then he gets discouraged. That's not the place to become discouraged."
-Thomas A. Edison
Chapter One I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I am lost …. I am helpless. It isn’t my fault It takes forever to find a way out. Chapter Two I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don’t see it. I fall in again. I can’t believe I am in this same place. But, it isn’t my fault It still takes a long time to get out. Chapter Three I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it there. I still fall in … it’s a habit … but, my eyes are open. I know where I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately. Chapter Four I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it. Chapter Five I walk down another street.
Portia Nelson, “Autobiography In Five Short Chapters” (via feellng)
Everything up above looks so much different than down below. It’s kinda nice because when you’re up above there isn’t much you’re thinking about like with cars or other people, it’s just what the trees and buildings or anything else looks like rather than worrying about time.
I, myself, am made of flaws. Stitched together with good intentions.

Don’t you just hate it when you feel like things are different, but you’re not sure. You’re also too scared to ask for fear of the answer.
It made me wonder how many times we forgive just because we don’t want to lose someone, even if they don’t deserve our forgiveness.

Before I met you, I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason.
