one of the questions i continuously apply to my story is "how much access to these not-publicly-acknowledged military flights in Delta planes could a planespotter/avgeek reasonably (and legally) achieve, and assuming that they walk away with photos, is that a problem?" i ask this bc if the circumstances in the story were real, i would be the planespotter chasing these planes, but also, in my experience, military/government flights can be surprisingly easy to photograph without being chased away or even approached by police or airport security

and i say that from experience bc Buffalo gets a weekly flight operated for ICE and on multiple occasions i've been able to park my car in an empty lot, walk right up to the airport perimeter fence, and take photos with my big fuckoff telephoto lens that gives me so much zoom that i can see people's faces from about 2000 ft away

so i dont really have a consistent answer for "is it a problem?" but i do know that the answer to "how easy is it to document this?" is Surprisingly Easy
