Normally, the air of the Shade Ridge was thick yet as you climbed one of the twin peaks stationed North of the bay, the air would thin. There wasn't any human stupid enough to venture there in the dark of the Jinzhou night. Though the stars illuminated the sky, for a human it would be hard to see further than a couple feet ahead of you.

The rocky stairs, worn and eroded, would crumble further as heavy eager steps stomped higher and higher, taking pauses in between every few feet to ensure they wouldn't fall off the steep edge. Usually that wouldn't be much of a problem, as what's plummeting to a being with wings? However the growing fear of ruining a gift for someone you cherish can ensure you take your time and pace yourself to mitigate the chances of ruin.

A soft hum can be heard from the top, a somber song, yet still out of vision. The curve of the stairs along the mountains paired with that damn device placed by mortals, a Resonance Beacon, I believe they're called, blocks the view of the gazebo from which the melody came.

The steps quicken, though only glowing heavier and right as they reach the top a sharp breathe is taken in and a loud:

“MY LOVE!” is let out.

The hum ceases and instead turns to a chuckle, "Someone's late."

Crownless huffs, picnic basket in hand, "Only by a few minutes..."

"Twenty. Your tacet field is far closer to here than my domain."

"I just wanted to make sure everything was perfect for my lovely wife." a pout present on Crownless' 'lips'.

She smiles "Is that so, my dear? What's in your basket?"

Excitement fills him, "Items for a pic-i-nic!"

"A pic-i-nic?"

"Mortals have them with those they love."

"How quaint... What does it entail?" Dreamless, being quite intrigued, asks.

He lays the basket on the ground, and gently picks up the table and chairs underneath the gazebo. He tosses them off the side of the cliff down into the water below, spooking the nearby cats that give him a look of 'what the fuck?'.

He crouches down and opens the basket, his wife looking with an amused smile, as he pulls out a large blanket. He centers it beneath the gazebo shuffling on his hands and knees. The wind picks up, threatening to blow his hard work away, with a groan he places a few rocks and the basket itself atop the blanket to keep it in place.

He pulls out a few candles and lights them with his candle lighting powers, setting them along the blanket, careful to not set the ground on fire. Lastly he pulls out a large bouquet.

"There!" He quickly stands up with a large grin. He walks towards Dreamless and grabs her hand, placing a soft kiss to the back of it, "For you my beloved.” He smiles, handing her the bouquet.

Dreamless presses a kiss to his cheek, "What a charmer," she rolls her eyes, a soft smile on her lips as she pulls the bouquet to her chest. Crownless leads her to sit down. Holding onto her to lower her down, he follows suit, settling right beside her.

He kisses her shoulder then nuzzles into her, and grins. Crownless turns to the basket and pulls out a few echos on a platter, and a bottle of some kind of liquid.

When he finishes laying out the picnic, he smiles at his wife, expecting some kind of praise.

Dreamless cups his face “Aww… How sweet. My husband did this all for me?”

He nods sinking lower as he wraps his arms around his waist, resting his head on her chest as he looks up at her.

“Thank you, angel. I love it. It’s perfect.” She chuckles as she sets the bouquet beside her and pulls him closer. She lays his head on her lap and begins to stroke his head, continuing her humming from earlier as she gazes into the Jinzhou night.
