Apollo has two moods: "You could spill soup in my lap and I'd apologise to you" and "I WILL CROSS-EXAMINE GOD, GET HIM ON THE STAND RIGHT NOW" and he has no in-between and I love him for that.

I finished Maya and Franziska. I had to put them on the next cube, this was supposed to be me trying cross-stitching and making the tiny klapollo ones only. Now I want to make everyone. I'm going back to the big AA4 project, but I think the next tiny ones will be Gumshoe and Pearl.

Finished Trucy. I'm going to take a break and make tiny Maya and Franziska before I start Apollo. I said a year as a joke, but seeing how distracted I get wanting to do other things. It might actually take more than a year.

I saw the new official art, and I had to. Most of my Apollo figurines have a Klavier companion, so I will probably make Klavier too.

was thinking about apollo and phoenix earlier and how their whole aa4 dynamic was so complicated and great and then got flattened in later games to "beloved mentor/mentee" because:

the guy you keep reading about in your university case studies who does the brilliant turnabouts and gets justice by the skin of his teeth but Keeps Pushing Onwards was disbarred for forging evidence. and you’re so sure that he couldn’t have done it. but it’s your first real trial some years down the line and you’re defending this guy who looks like he’s been drinking himself down the drain for years and is accused of murdering some guy in a shady poker basement. and he’s phoenix wright? and then slowly you realize you’re only here to mediate some sort of weird conflict/divorce between your current boss and Phoenix Wright, and you’re forced to pick sides as the evidence mounts because You’re The Defense Lawyer Here, and you finally choose to go against all your instincts and pick the guy who was disbarred to trust, because he was brilliant and you can see some of that in his posture and the glint in his eyes as he stands behind the bench with you and maybe, just maybe, this is actually the path of truth and justice. and then it turns out that after you win the trial, the decisive evidence was faked. and your perception of him shatters as you realize that maybe he’s never been more than a fraud and a liar and now you’re out of a job and nobody’s going to hire the guy who put his mentor behind bars, especially when said mentor was kristoph gavin, the most well-regarded defense attorney of the present moment
