You don’t want to listen to his excuses. You don’t want to let him walk all over you because you’re too fucking nice to him and you both know it. You thought after two years and some time away, maybe he would’ve changed. Maybe he wouldn’t be so difficult to deal with. But you’re never right with shit like that so you don’t know why you even bother to care anymore.

A frown tugs at your lips. Now you were irritated. You hadn't wanted to fight with your twin but here he was egging you on by insulting your personality. Dave of all people should know that you weren't the best when it comes to people and after two years of being away from your brother, your social interaction had been at an all time low, so of course you would come off as being rude. He should be able to understand that about you. And it was grating on your nerves that he was being that way.

Then you understood. He's angry because you rejected his feelings in one of the worst ways possible, by brushing them off as misplaced. Even still, the logic couldn't contain the irritation that was spreading through you. 

"Alright Dave, I get it. I've obviously worn out my welcome. If you want me to leave, fine. I'll leave." You turn on your heel and head towards the door. You're about to step out, but you stop for a moment, looking over your shoulder to add to what you had already said. "Just know that, unless you want me completely out of your life, I'll still be here. But please, dislodge the log that you crammed up your ass before you contact me." And with that you exit your brother's room.
