Belle-mere ——> Beau-pere

Finally finished with this one! I really wanted to share it here. For some of these going forward I wanted to give my thoughts on how I went about making this (shout out to @silkentine )

For Beau-pere’s design, I leaned more into the farmer aspect when it came to his attire. He gets all sweaty and dirty so he’ll wear baggy but workable clothes.

Belle-mere’s design to me exudes tough but gentle; I wanted to portray that in Beau-pere’s design too. I made him more rough-looking but kept his features playful and gentle.

And since he’s a dad, he’d definitely have a dad bod 😉

sometimes I remember that doffy is a girl dad (baby 5, sugar) and those card game images go HARD on this the same way they go hard on boy dad Cora and I think that's so cute and actually I will forgive some of his crimes because he 1000% looks like he spoiled them rotten. like it is completely plausible in a modern au that doffy's girl children are nepo babies with unlimited access to daddy's money and only have to bat their lashes at him to get the latest rare expensive designer item they want. is it a terrible way to raise kids? yes. does Rosi, who lives in a shitty apartment where nothing functions properly chastise him for it? absolutely. but Doffy never sees the point and calls him dramatic for 'making life difficult' for himself because he could just come back to his mansion and live in luxury instead of that shithole...
