your hadestown AU is genuinely all i've been thinking about since you posted it on your twitter I love every single detail about it ... lovely assistaff representing zanka's emotions ... everyone's vital instruments still being present ... the COSTUMING..!! i genuinely could stare at the posts forever. if you have anything else youd like to share i would absolutely love to see/read it !!!!!!!!

AHAHAH first off thank you very much anon I'm honestly so happy that ppl like the AU I will be definitely drawing more for it when I get the chance

I briefly talked abt it on my alt twt but for the costuming in particular I was actually pretty anal abt making everyone stage accurate... and then theres zanka whos vaguely taisho roman

You could argue that it's actually historically accurate against the backdrop of 1930s louisiana (mental gymnastics) but largely I was just having fun with zanka's silhouette and wanted to preserve his japanese identity in some way

As for everyone's jinki's I also was rly particular about that bc I wanted them to still have a functional purpose in the AU.. I feel like 3R would help give Rudo the power to write his songs.. Amo's boots help her travel as she's running from the wind on topside... and inevitably when she goes down below to Hadestown. Enjin and Umbreaker are especially fun bc Hermes actually does have an umbrella in the stageplay! I reckon he uses Umbreaker as "the wings on his feet" to travel.

Zanka and Lovely Assistaff are particularly important bc I imagine his bond with her is what determines the seasons in this universe, and that bond is impacted by his mood (which is almost never a good one bc. divorce babe. divorce. LOL). As for Jabber and Mankira, I'm truthfully not entirely sure how to incorporate them, but I've been thinking that his use of her is poisoning the underground in the same way Hades' factories have been artificially heating the underground in Hadestown
