I'm Amelia. I run Amelia's Aces. I also train some Pokémon myself, and gather supplies from tera raid dens. I like to keep myself busy. I'm originally from Galar, but I moved to Paldea to study at Uva Academy. Now I'm a champion rank trainer. Here's a card I made myself with some of the Pokémon I have with me right now.

Last night I got home ready to kick a Malamar out of my brother's head, only to find she apparently got bored already, sent him to bed and then went to sleep on the sofa. I'm confused. She's still not getting treats though.

Top 5 shiny Pokémon

This is my totally real list of my top 5 favourite shiny Pokémon that I'd love to see or even catch someday!

5. Inkay

Look at how cute it is! It looks like a chibified upside down Malamar! The yellow and pink makes it look like a heal ball.

4. Malamar

What's not to love about Malamar? The striking red colours and its stare might look intimidating, but they're actually really friendly! This picture from the Alolan Pokédex makes it look like it's charging at you to attack, but it's probably just flying in for a hug!

3. Malamar

Yup, that's right! I'm ranking Malamar multiple times because it's that great! The dark parts on this one's belly look slightly more faded, perhaps the skin is a bit more opaque? Either way, I love how it brings out the green!

2. Malamar

How could I not include this Malamar, it's literally making a heart shape with its tentacles! Even from behind it looks so cool, and you get a better view of the bright yellow streaks around the back of its "hair"!

Mega Malamar

I can't show you what a shiny mega Malamar looks like because I'm pretty sure nobody's actually photographed one yet. But I could be the first! And look at the normal version! Look at all those bright and beautiful colours! Just imagine what shiny mega Malamar could look like! I bet it's amazing!

Been training a Malamar recently and she's been surprisingly well behaved! I was expecting her to be more of a handful, but she's great at only using her abilities for battling. She's currently holding down the fort (my house) while I go on a quick grocery run!

Audino PSA!

Can we NOT normalize scaring Audino with loud noises for online content?? I keep seeing videos of people scaring wild Audino with loud noises and it's really upsetting. It's not funny to harm wild Pokemon! It's also really annoying to people nearby who have to deal with the loud noises! Stop doing it!!

Nah, she mostly just made “I hear you, little man” chirps at him and went back to whatever she was doing. Or dodged out of the way, if she felt like indulging. I think she might view my Riolu like a slightly annoying younger relative?

The one time I thought it *would* be really bad—he grabbed for her crest as she was preparing to fly—Gail didn’t actually smack him hard enough to injure. She did scream VERY loudly in the process, though, just to be sure we all got the message XD

Hey, a quick PSA for anyone else exploring dynamax dens/going on dynamax adventures. DON'T TELL YOUR POKEMON TO USE SWAGGER. It's most likely to just make the giant pokemon even stronger.

It's so funny when people talk about Driftveil as if it is a rural town. Castelia is setting unrealistic body image expectations for the rest of Unova's cities </3

"Rural"... It is a major port.

Also, it is home to one of Unova's major soccer teams, the Driftveil Earthquake. Last year, they even won the Unova Cup, no matter how undeserved their win was. People only think of FC Nimbasa as the sole representative of Unova in soccer, but Driftveil is far bigger on the sport.

It is a port trade city with famous sports teams and a Gym. What part of that is 'rural'?

One of the best feelings is hurting all over after a hard day of training my team and pushing my limits to the limit. One of the worst feelings is hurting all over when I barely did anything today! What's up with that?!

Not particularly, I can't remember when things started hurting. It's just a thing that happens sometimes. Luckily for me it's usually mild enough to push through, but still noticeable enough to be annoying and distracting.

yeah, I hate bad pain days. do you keep and pain meds such as ibuprofen or Tylenol on you? those can definitely help.

Yeah I've had those. Wouldn't normally need them for pain like this unless it was way worse, but I need to make sure I sleep decently enough to catch up on all the training I missed tomorrow! My worst pain days still aren't that bad, and I've had some rest today doing admin things so I should be just fine after some sleep!
