Naomi

The young heroine known as Naomi was born on a parallel earth that was ruled by a metahuman despot named Zumbado. Naomi were able to facilitate her escape from this world when she was a child, using a dimensional portal to transport her to the earth of the main DC Comics continuity.

Adopted by a Rannian refugee, the youngster grew up as Naomi McDuffie hidden away in a small town in Oregon. She was largely unaware of her extra-dimensional origins, but suspected there was something different about herself.

The villainous Zumbado was finally able to discover Naomi whereabouts and crossed the dimensions in pursuit of her. Herein it is revealed that Zumbado believes Naomi’s genetic structure holds the key for increasing his power and undoing his sterility. Fleeing from this villain, Naomi discovers she possesses metahuman powers over her own and can wield a special energy that bestows her flight, super strength and force blasts.

The young heroine is eventually able to defeat Zumbado and she ends up joining the reformed iteration of Young Justice. She later became a part of the Justice League.

Actress Kaci Walfall portrays a version of the character in the Naomi television series. The heroine first appeared in Naomi #1 (2019).
