What a milestone—40 years of adventuring.

This special is from a scene much further in the LU comic. It felt like a fitting way to reflect on the journey that started it all. What an impression it left, as we still feel that sense of adventure all these years later.

Whumptober day 24 Came Back Wrong

It was far too often that Ashton woke up in pain. 

He more often than not woke up in some sort of pain. No matter the way he aligned himself on the bed, using pillows to cushion his joints and his scars, he could never wake up without feeling the sinking pain that seemed to seep so deeply into their bones.

Bolaire froze at the words, the mask felt as if it clung tighter to his face by the second, was his clothes always this tight? Gods it was getting hard to breathe. Was the room always so dark? Was the air always so heavy in his chest? -- or:

C1 has two eps and this is my HC so, Bolaire talks to the mask. and yes its angst AND YES I AM THE FIRST ANGST POSTED I WILL TAKE THAT WIN!!

Hi guys so just to let everyone know why whumptober is not being posted rn:

Basically roomate problems. Love her to death but her and her partner are having severe issues and they fight in our room every day till 4 am ish and I’m just not able to sleep. It’s been effecting my school work and writing so I’ve put writing to the side untill it gets worked out more!

I swear I’ll get atleast half done this year ❤️❤️😭😭

Whumptober day 3 Found Family, Isolation -- Ashton didn’t quite trust the new group that he had… found.

He had worked with quite a few people in the past, Milo, the nobodies and FCG to name just a few notable ones. But others besides them? They tended to do nothing but let him down and leave him worse off then he had started. He scowled down at his drink, the third tankard usually inviting to him now seeming to taunt him as he glared at the table. Sure, the group seemed nice, if not a bit odd, but who was he to judge?

-- or ashton doesnt want to share his life story, why were all these people so willing?
