you ever wanted to make your own stamps with gifs like this and have no idea how the fuck to do that?
it's really easy and all you need is a gif of your choice and the stamp base. all stamps are 99 x 56px as a tip for normal stamps.
during these steps i am pressing the buttons below every edited image so its easier to navigate.
step 1.
head over to the website ezgif.com. i use it for a lot of gif related things too and its really damn useful.
step 2.
head over to the resize tab and toss in your gif.
make sure the width is 93 pixels and the height is 49 pixels, dont worry about it being stretched since it resizes it down and some a little bit of cropping.
and if you want it to cover a specific area just go to the crop tab and make a selection around the area that's about the shape of the stamp, doesn't need to be perfect. and then head back to resize and do the resizing.
step 3.
head over to overlay in the effects
make sure to press the blue button under the gi that says "extend canvas size" its really important you do this so the actual stamp part doesn't get cut off. and add your overlay image aka the stamp base
and heres the base:
step 4:
adjust the overlay by putting 43 to the left and 22 to the top so it lines up like its shown here.
step 5.
and finally go to crop and scroll down and enable the checkbox that says "trim transparent pixels around the image" and hit crop image.
and there you go, you just made an animated stamp. and heres the finish product on the one i made.
hopefully this helps out in someway and that the steps were easy to understand, let me know if you have any issues or questions.

Hey all! I have come to a decision on when and how blinkie.world will go up. It’s going to take months and months to redo all the blinkies, so that’s why I’ve decided on a compromise! TLDR at the end.
So some time ago I did a poll on if you guys would rather the site be up sooner with less blinkies, or later with the original intended amount. Most of you agreed to have the site public sooner with less blinkies! I’m kind of leaning this way as well. I’ve been doing this nearly every day for over a year now. Of course I want people to see it! The downside though is that it’ll be a lot smaller than what I wanted to start with, but what if that wasn’t the case?
So, I’ve decided that I’ll make it public, AND have all the blinkies! This does mean that most of them aren’t going to have a dropdown menu, but they’re still functional without. All blinkies are still linked to their source regardless. I did say that having some with dropdowns and some without would be a confusing mess, but maybe not if they’re separated! Here’s what I’ve come up with:
In the footer there is a new button that says “toggle blinkies in progress”. If you click this, you can see all the blinkies that aren’t recoded yet!
It does feel a bit scrappy to me to have things unfinished just openly there on the website, but I also think I’m way over thinking this. I mean, most people don’t even credit blinkies at all! In fact, I practically never see a big collection of blinkies that are all credited. I have 5,543 blinkies up, and all of them are linked at the very least. I think it’s time I take a step back and realize that I’m actually in a pretty good spot right now, and that the site has been more than good enough to be public for a while. Besides, I have all the time in the world to reach my insane ambitions with each update! Rome wasn’t built in a day, after all.
So where does this leave us? This means that I’m going to wrap up some last minute essentials (formatting, links, typos, etc.), and then the site will go live! It will start with a handful of category pages too, and all the aesthetic pages! Some category pages are just really huge and I can’t wrap them up that fast, but I’ll add them in as they’re completed in future updates!
Because this version of the site is a bit cut down, I have opted to call it the beta version. You know, like a video game or something! Just like my main site, I am naming the updates in versions like a game because I think it’s cute. Plus, it fits perfectly! This is the version that’s not quite 100%, but it’s close enough that people can be let in to try it out! That’s basically exactly what this is. Then once I reach the 300 of each color goal like I wanted, and all the category pages are up, then that will be the official version one! Does it make much of a difference if I call it version one or beta? No, of course not, but I find it fitting.
Okay, okay. So, I’m cutting things down and fixing the necessities, therefore making the site functional for the public. Blinkie.world then goes public sooner, without having to cut down any blinkies! I think this is a good compromise. I’m very excited to finally have something to show for all I’ve done so far! It’s a very very long way before it reaches its full potential, but at least this way anyone can see the progression for themselves, rather than me just telling you about it.
Just give it a few days guys, and then I’ll make it public. I’m really really close now!
TLDR: Instead of removing blinkies that I haven’t recoded yet, I’m making all of them viewable on the site by clicking a toggle button. This way all 5,000+ can still be seen by anyone. I am taking a few days to make sure everything’s functional, then I will make the site public. New blinkies and pages will be added regularly and indefinitely.
