i wanna see more stuff about tim's "it's for your own good!" mentality with jay because it is craaazy how fast he went from "yep we're investigative partners or whatever let's go look at parks and stuff" to So attached and concerned for jay's safety that he starts disregarding jay's autonomy. WHAT WAS THAT

#YOUR TAGS ARE DRIVING ME INSANR. BUT #UTTERFLY TAXIDERMY #I love this stuff I love it so much and I interpret it as showing that the conditions of his childhood do actually have an effect on him. he #was too normal before. idk man maybe you’re mirroring your mom and the psych ward you were forced into at age seven #nobody goes through these things unscathed #and the niceties towards Jay feel like a sort of infantilization insyead of actual respectful care #he’s projecting the fear others felt for him as a little kid onto a grown person and entrapping their everything about it #no matter how you try to slice it it is horrifying that Jay was being fed pills in his disassociative state #and leaving him somewhere Jay knows to be afraid of even though tim superficially insists it’s safe #this is very much just mirroring parental voice taking priority over children’s autonomy in terms of their body. medicine. and living situ #maybe this is fucked up but I do like to wonder if people would’ve been so hung up on this is Jay was an actual child instead of #an adult being treated as one in the microsystem that is their relationship (due to how isolated marble hornets as a whole is)#to me it feels like one of those stories qhere the cast is so limited that they become the world rather than just in it #also on a more self indulgent level I like to think of this spurt of violence through infantilization to also be a showcase that tim doesnt #have an ‘evil alter’#that masky is just as human as he is and vice versa. that they exist in the same brain and are probably going to share bad habits

The best things to giv a character :

1. Intense psychosexual issues the nature of wish would make Freud squirm

2. Glasses because they’re cuteeeeeee
