      “That’s right,” he confirms, “Only a few of us have left, I’ve been told. So few that there’s not much record outside of our own.” Strive loosely tents his hands, shrugging. “Perhaps I’ll try spaghetti some time soon.”

There’s silence. Then a quick chuckle.

“…really?” Ey’re speechless. “Well. We’ve reached an impasse, I suppose.”

     Strive looks confused. “I suppose so. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to what Spaghetti is.”

commandertupperware‌:

“Pasta’s got the same basic ingredients as bread. Ya gonna call some spaghetti a sandwich next?”

         He hums.

           “What is spaghetti?” The point is lost on him.

commandertupperware‌:

“Spare me the semantics, kid. That ain’t how it works.”

            “You can’t tell me you really look at a bread and meat combination and think of it as anything but a sandwich,” he says, crossing his arms.

commandertupperware‌:

“The universe as a whole is vast and interestin’, and full of all possibilities beyond the imagination. So basically what I’m sayin’ is, there’s probably a universe out there where a hot dog is a sandwich. But it ain’t this universe. Fuck you.”

       “For the last time, Commander, a sandwich is something between a slab of bread. A hotdog is just that, by definition.”
