Riley told Anthony and I separately that her 1:1 aid at school hit her. She isn't able to verbalize any more details, except that the aid makes her feel sad.

This has been my greatest fear since she was first diagnosed, and I'm so fucked up about it. I've been crying all night. She can't even tell me where she hit her. She can't say where it happened, or how hard or how many times. How can I keep her safe when I'm not there?

Riley is (somehow) six years old and is in 1st grade! She loves dresses, princesses, video games, painting, food, and school. She is speaking all the time now, although we are still working with her.
