I don’t really have a talent. I can't sing. I’m not double-jointed. I can't even make my tongue look like a hot dog bun. I can dance, kind of... but I don't really want to record myself dancing. I can draw/paint, kind of... but I don’t have materials. There's a number of things I'm kind of ok at. One of those things I’m kind of ok at is photography... Here are some pictures I took while abroad this spring!
Global warming is not something many of us think about regularly, but it is one of the most pressing issues of our time. We have harmed our planet in so many ways; abusing its resources and destroying the habitats of countless species.
This is an ad I created in Greenpeace’s name to remind people of this issue. A Polar Bear-shaped ice sheet is breaking into pieces. The tagline “Don’t break the ice,” is a play on words inspired by the famous childhood game. How do we expect to take care of societal problems if we cannot take care of our own planet? Although we can never undo the damage we’ve already done, we can all do our part to reduce our carbon footprint.

The Clydesdale horse has been used in Budweiser’s commercial spots for the past number of years. The Clydesdale horse is the noble, wholesome symbol of Budweiser. Each Super Bowl, Budweiser launches a new TVC featuring the Clydesdale horse. These commercial spots are a huge success because they tear at the heartstrings of viewers. Some people even admit to crying. Especially during “Puppy Love,” the spot from Super Bowl XLVIII, which captures the friendship between the Clydesdale horse and a super cute Labrador puppy. The following year, they continued with “Lost Dog,” where the Clydesdale horse saves the lost puppy from danger and brings it back home. Budweiser successfully uses not only one, but two different animals in their campaigns. By creating a friendship between the two animals, Budweiser stirs up emotion and creates an iconic storyline that viewers look forward to every year during the Super Bowl.
