About Acqua Scanlations - a JP-EN translation blog
Hello! This is an independently-run scanlation and translation blog by @shizuumi151. As of July 2025, @siggiedraws has joined as resident cleaner and redrawer and we have a new mascot!
I occasionally translate and scanlate content and post the finished results here. What I translate is only dictated by my interest, time, and energy.
You can find some of my other translations on my Notion site, also available as a link in the sidebar of my desktop blog, that features the original Japanese of each text as well!
I have done a scanlation commission in the past and I'm open to doing other commissions for scanlations and translations alike depending on how much interest I receive for them. Though I'm still a hobbyist in many ways, I do put a lot of thought and effort into the translations I produce, so I decided to enable receiving tips for my scanlations.
My works I tag as 'my scanlations' or 'my translations' and my non-scanlations, i.e. reflections and post-work notes, I tag as 'text'.
Otherwise, this is just a JP language-learner's little translation nook for the occasional work here and there. However occasional my work is, if you come across it, I hope you enjoy it all the same!
