a little peek into my TWISTED mind. my FRICKED UP brain
For Father’s Day Bruce gets to hold his son for the first time in years 🫶
Who doesn’t love lore dumping? Come and learn what RotLT is all about!
Boards by @/soleildiddle
With the animated intro being nearly completed, I can now avert my attention back to revising boards for episode 1. I along with two other board artists have been working hard, and I’m looking forward to sending updates with this new goal set in stone!
I will be recruiting clean up animators to help speed up this process to put out a release in time for Sly’s 25th anniversary. HOWEVER..
The goal is to hire 2-4 animators on indie rates ($25 - $35 per sec).
If I meet my goal by the end of the month, we can begin production by July 1st! Even if we don’t meet our goal by then, so long as we meet it by the summer, we will be right on track for a 2027 release!! Check out for more information on my ko-fi https://ko-fi.com/acruxicon

Bentley Jones, the songwriter of Silver the Hedgehog’s theme “Dreams of an Absolution”, revealed in “The making of DREAMS OF AN ASBOLUTION music video” that the song’s lyrics were based off of his breakup with an ex-boyfriend.

Sonic Adventure 2!?
Rise of the Legendary Thief OFFICIAL Teaser
(Based on this!)
We turned Sonic into a real hedgehog in the roleplay recently. He thought it was funny but his boyfriend wasn't impressed.
When you’re on your way home from the club but one of you almost died
I watched this video last week, which among other things discusses how the term "scimitar" is a Western generalisation that fails to directly reference a specific type of sword, and then I thought about Salim al-Kupar's cane. After seeing the different examples of swords brought up in the video as well as looking up some more, it seems as if Salim's cane was primarily modelled after the khopesh.
Although the khopesh is largely linked to Ancient Egypt, it's thought to have been brought there by the Levantine kings that ruled over the lower half of the country post 18th century BC (so basically not Ancient Arabia). I'm aware that (a) Egypt experienced an Arabisation in the 7th century following the spread of Islam, which would be super useful to consider if we knew when exactly Salim lived; and (b) Salim's cane isn't a direct replica, but I'm getting there.
Then, there's also the discrepancy between the cane shown in Salim's original artwork and the one in the Vault (he's not the only one who suffers from this inconsistency. Henriette originally had a dagger cane but in the Vault is shown using a hook cane, which is maddening considering both iterations of her are used in the same game). In the original artwork, Salim's freakishly big cane (🫦) seems to be an amalgamation between the khopesh and the Zulfiqar. The latter, although originally straight, is believed to have been 100 centimetres long while its later iterations, some of them fantastical, were also serrated (pictured below) and even 3 metres long.
Salim's cane in the Vault however, has a bit of a curve to it (🫦) similar to the shamsir and the kilij (of Persian and Turkish origins, respectively) and is, more notably, a bit smaller than the one from his original artwork. Despite the fact that it retains the khopesh's shape, its smaller size and curvier hilt drag more real-life inspirations into the mix and, as such, justify it being labeled as a "scimitar" (as established above, a generalisation). I don't want to be the big bad wolf who spent 50 minutes online researching this stuff in order to inflict the same skepticism from the video onto Sly Cooper, but it should be stated that, whereas most of the other ancestors got canes that are a direct reference to something (lance, pirate hook, revolver, etc.), the Middle Eastern one got stuck with a Franken-cane. Granted, we also got a white dude who stuck two canes onto his plane's propeller and called it a day, but still.
Girl just block me it’s not that serious

11/14/22 UPDATE: I’ve taken both “Naruto: The Last King, The Last Priest” and “Therapist R. J. Hill” off my etsy store. Both comics can be read, in their entirety, on this tumblr.
I think I’ve completed or at least nearly polished enough shots to put some sort of teaser together for RotLT. Does this mean I’m finally getting my shit together too?

$: I must hand it to you G_an_. your mind was always resourceful.
theory time. Scratch had a brain tumor and was aware he was going to die from it. in attempt to thwart death, he made Caine capable of hosting brain scans into digital bodies - making that, in fact, Caine's "mission" or "function." (we hear him during his final crashout saying he's just trying to do what he was programmed to do, but Kinger in his flashback says they never made Caine for anything like this.) due to Caine's instability from swallowing Abel, this manifested in a way Scratch didn't want, thus leading to the first abstraction
I'm willing to bet the text above is one of three things: -either Bubble acting as the warden for the coding (a lot of other lines are very bubble-esque) -Scratch's lingering consciousness attempting to still live forever and keep Caine running at any cost -what remains of Abel pulling the trigger, aka the fellow AI that we see Caine eating at the beginning.
its like, picture perfect, because there's a bunch of heads bobbing in the way, but there's a line out of nowhere when Kinger is trying to stop the program from locking him out-
the percentages is the lockout initializing, and Kinger trying to press (Y) to cancel initializing it - however if you check the bottom third, out of nowhere lies the line "are you ready to delete caine? [Y/N] and Kinger, who's been pressing [Y] over and over trying to stop the lockout, accidentally deletes Caine- but why did that question pop up in the first place? The rest of the WACKYTIME routine speaks like Bubble, saying things like "that's a REALLY WACKY WORD but its not WACKY ENOUGH!" and things like that
who said it?
in any case there's a lot of questions going on here- for instance, most people (Ragatha, Kinger, the C&A crew) appear to be implemented on October 15th, but through different years (1996, 1999, 2008) but Kinger's login is from October 30th. lets all explode
as a note @getvalentined pointed most of this out to me because she can read a lot of this shit freehand
