Over the last few days there has been a lot going on, and through speaking I have learnt never to be alone.
This community that has been created should be a safe space for everyone. A place where we all come together, share our love for the game/ players, support eachother and enjoy what we all share the same passion for. Sadly over the last few days, it’s come to life that there are people who no longer feel safe or comfortable which makes me really sad. Everyone needs to remember that this is the internet. Things get shared, repeated and information gets passed around, please be careful with what you share and who you trust. False information or following someone to be intimidating is not ok. You are NOT welcome in this community if you make anyone feel fear or distress. I don’t think being human or any basic human decency is too much to ask!!
Changing how you present yourself online, attempting to start over doesn’t erase it or take away the damage of what has already happened. What makes it special here is that we are stronger together, we share our experiences and listen to eachother but most importantly we look out for eachother. And when people share stories it matters. This is about making it clear to everyone that people deserve to feel safe here, we should be able to run these blogs because we enjoy it and love interacting with people who share the same passion without constantly feeling attacked, intimidate or lied too.
