on one hand i think itās cool when vas and people on the show want to interact with fans, but on the other hand thereās a limit to whatās healthy interaction and what isnāt?
itās cool if adam wanted to chill with fans, but all the ship bashing he did, the constant ridicule of other characters ? The fandom had enough issues without the crew fueling them, and i canāt help but be annoyed adam got away with all this and was still treated like almost the poster boy for the show.
he feels a little too on his high horse, and his actions feel like an abuse of power.
yeah, cool adam, you worked on the show, but thatās not an excuse for your behavior and your behavior to the fandom felt more childish then the fandom at times.
itās beyond me why they put adam in everything, but i can only assume itās because he both wanted to more then most of the other crew, and his high interaction with fans made him a more ideal pick.
After all, when the majority of your audience is starco, less people see a problem when you bash non-starco ships and adam got away with it a lot more because he was catering to the popular pairing.
However, since heās not a writer, i have a harder time taking his words as canon, because he wasnāt one of the people working on the world building and when heās not giving the same answers as daron heās probably making stuff up.
which is probably why i donāt personally consider stuff likeĀ āMarco had the same magic as celenaā orĀ āTomās parents met in a coffee shopā canon, because it seems almost like he made them up (In fact the celena one was made up because he said he THINKS thatās what it was), because the crew itself probably had no actual answers themselves.
I really donāt know why he had to act like this, or BE like this, because he didnāt, thereās no excuse.

Iād like to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume maybe he learned something, but that probably isnāt the case.
If all the puke comments and insults towards the other ships were meant to be jokes, theyāre not funny and never were.
itās disappointing because itād be cool if adam was a va that was chill with the fans and nice to everyone and gave these cute fun facts about the characters, but instead we had years of him bashing non-starco ships and insulting tom or jackie or whoever was a threat to starco and i really think disney wouldāve been better not letting him be so far in the front on twitter and promotion stuff the moment he started doing this stuff.
