I didn’t even realized that we had reached 102 followers thanks you guys sm🫶 I’ll will be making a fanfic for that.
(Y/N) sat at her vanity, staring into the mirror. The sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow on her deep brown skin. Her reflection, however, only brought back her insecurities. Her hands brushed over the fabric of her dress—a rich plum color that complemented her complexion but clung to her curves in a way that made her hesitant.
She sighed, pulling at the fabric near her waist. “Why do I even bother?” she muttered to herself.
Her friend’s words echoed in her mind: “This one is different, (Y/N). I swear they’re not shallow like the others. Just give it a shot.”
Different. She had heard that before. It always ended the same way—disappointment, awkward smiles, and the unspoken rejection that cut deeper every time.
But despite her doubts, she couldn’t ignore the flicker of hope that maybe, just maybe, this time would be different.
She took a deep breath, smoothing her dress and heading out.
At the restaurant, Uzui Tengen adjusted the collar of his flamboyant outfit and glanced around the table. His wives—Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru—sat beside him, each radiating their unique beauty and charm.
Makio leaned back, arms crossed, her eyebrow raised. “I still don’t get why we’re doing this. Aren’t we enough for you?”
Tengen chuckled, his voice a warm rumble. “Of course you are. You three are everything to me. But we agreed a fourth would bring balance, didn’t we?”
Hinatsuru placed a calming hand on Makio’s arm. “It’s not about replacing anyone. It’s about expanding our family.”
Suma fidgeted nervously. “But what if they don’t like us? Or what if we don’t like them?”
Tengen smirked. “Then we move on. But from what I’ve heard, this person is worth meeting. Let’s give them a chance, alright?”
The door to the restaurant opened, and Tengen’s sharp eyes immediately locked onto (Y/N).
She stepped inside, her confidence wavering as she caught sight of the group. Tengen’s towering frame and his wives’ stunning appearances made her feel out of place. Her heart sank. What am I doing here?
Still, she forced herself to walk forward, clutching her bag tightly.
Tengen stood, his grin broad and welcoming. “You must be (Y/N). It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
His wives followed suit, each greeting her warmly.
(Y/N) smiled hesitantly, her nerves making her voice quieter than usual. “It’s nice to meet you all too.”
The table was lively, Tengen’s booming laughter filling the room as they chatted. Suma’s curiosity kept her asking questions about (Y/N)’s life, while Makio occasionally chimed in with sarcastic remarks that made everyone laugh.
Hinatsuru’s calm presence balanced the chaos, and she was the first to notice (Y/N)’s hesitation.
“You’re awfully quiet,” she said gently. “Are you okay?”
(Y/N) shifted in her seat, her gaze dropping to the table. “I’m just… not used to this kind of attention. You’re all so… incredible. I’m not sure I fit in.”
Makio frowned. “Not fit in? What are you talking about?”
(Y/N) hesitated, then admitted, “I’ve been on dates before, but they don’t usually go well. People… they don’t see me the way I want to be seen. They see my size, and that’s all they focus on.”
The table fell silent. Suma looked close to tears, and even Makio’s usual sharpness softened.
Tengen reached across the table, his large hand resting gently on (Y/N)’s. “If someone can’t see beyond appearances, they’re not worth your time. You deserve to be cherished for who you are.”
Hinatsuru nodded. “Beauty isn’t just about how you look. It’s about how you carry yourself, how you treat others, and the warmth you bring to the people around you. And you, (Y/N), are beautiful in every way that matters.”
Suma added, “I think you’re amazing! You’re smart, funny, and kind—and your dress is gorgeous!”
(Y/N) blinked back tears, their words slowly chipping away at the wall of self-doubt she had built. “Thank you. That… that means a lot.”
As the evening went on, (Y/N) found herself relaxing. Tengen shared stories of his time as the Sound Hashira, each tale more extravagant than the last, while Makio playfully teased him for embellishing the details.
Suma clung to every word (Y/N) said, her enthusiasm infectious, and Hinatsuru’s thoughtful questions made (Y/N) feel truly seen.
By the time dessert arrived, (Y/N) felt like she was part of something special.
After the meal, Tengen walked (Y/N) home, his wives trailing behind.
“You know,” Tengen began, his voice softer than usual, “we came here hoping to meet someone who could complete our family. Someone who could handle our chaos and bring their own spark to the mix.”
He stopped, turning to face her. “And I think you might be that person.”
(Y/N)’s heart raced. “You really think so?”
Makio smirked. “You handled tonight better than most people would. That says a lot.”
Suma nodded eagerly. “And you’re so sweet! I already want to spend more time with you!”
Hinatsuru smiled warmly. “If you’re willing to give us a chance, we’d like to get to know you better. No pressure, of course.”
Tears welled in (Y/N)’s eyes, but this time, they were tears of gratitude. For the first time, she felt like she was enough—not despite her insecurities, but because of who she was.
She smiled. “I’d like that too.”
In the weeks that followed, (Y/N) found herself becoming part of their world. Tengen’s confidence, Makio’s strength, Suma’s kindness, and Hinatsuru’s grace helped her see herself in a new light.
And for the first time, (Y/N) truly believed she was more than enough.
