I can imagine Neil and Aaron sitting down and watching some medical show that is so painfully inaccurate and them both agreeing on something like: “No your femoral artery is more to the left, he basically just stabbed him in the kneecap.” And the other nodding along. Or “He would have bled out before they got him to the hospital if he was shot there.” Maybe even Neil going as far as: “When I was stabbed there I was fine, they’re just being a baby.” And Aaron responding, “That’s what I’m saying.” And during the whole situation Andrew is sitting in the corner very concerned but sits back and quietly drinks his tea just glad they’re not trying to kill each other for once.

why does the spanish edition of aftg look so pretty when the american one is so bad?

#thanks for the serotonin #also #That's because the american one is self-published and the Spanish one is from an indie publisher who gathered a great team (translator #corrector #artist... etc. all joined/applied bc we loved the book)#there was apparently a whatsapp group of super fans approving/disapproving every decision #it makes sense that it's prettier and more carefully put together than a self published book printed through amazon

Okay so it's 100% true and confirmed that we're gonna have a spanish translation of the foxhole court. And I assumed it wasn't going to be published where I am because there's quite a few countries where it could be getting translated into spanish

but

turns out

the publisher is from Barcelona

and they don't have a cover artist yet

so I sent an email like

"I did this for free for myself"

"if u hire me we could do something better together, just think about it" Wish me fucking luck

I love that a bunch of people liked this post so it popped up on my notifications because there's an update:

Anyway u can now buy tfc in spanish and I cannot believe this is real life (and I honestly won't believe it until I can touch the physical book tomorrow)

#part of me is sad because like #I LOVE silhouettes and when you cna't see character's faces so you imagine them yourself #but apparently that sells less??? Which I DIDN'T KNOW #BUT GOD #THIS HAS BEEN A DREAM PROJECT WITH A DREAM PUBLISHER #and like everyone on the team were huge fans #it's been amazing #and I hope this book makes u as happy as it has made me
