***By sending me a payment for a commission, or buying stock artwork from me on Etsy, you automatically agree to these terms. Be sure to read my policies before asking for a commission or purchasing something from my Etsy store. Thank you!***
-Commissions will require a 50% non-refundable deposit before I will begin sketching, and I will need to receive the other 50% before I ship the commission.
-To start, I will be taking a total of 5 commissions a month, combined from both Tumblr and Etsy, and I will adjust as I go to school or if the workload proves too much.
-Before sending me a message about commissions, please look at my gallery - see what I’m capable of and if it’s what you’re really interested in
-Send me a message on either Tumblr or Etsy with COMMISSION somewhere in capital letters, detailing the type of commission you want. Do not skimp on details! The more the better! What size canvas you want, what type of paint, what color scheme - the more details you send me, the more it’s going to end up like how you want it, and we’ll both be happy! Please feel free to send me images via email to help me picture what you want.
-I will send you a contract to make sure you understand all of my policies, to outline the commission, to establish the timeline and the price.
-My prices are non-negotionable. My time is worth money, and I have bills to pay for just like everyone else. I refuse to fall into the stereotype of starving artist. I am willing to do payment plans for commissions over $300, but I will NOT ship until total agreed amount is paid.
-I will contact you at least once a week with sketches and progress reports to make sure I’m heading in the right direction
-I will not completely redo a painting once it is done because of the above policy.
-Most custom paintings can take up to two weeks to complete. Portraits can take up to a month.
-If there are any delays in receiving the artwork, because life happens, I will notify you immediately of the delay
-I do landscapes, galaxies, planets, abstract silhouettes of cities, portraits in pencil, but please browse through my gallery to see if my style and what I do is right for your commission.
-I don’t do explicit NSFW. Refer to my ‘kneeling angel’ piece in my gallery to get an idea of what I’m willing to do.
-I don’t do oil paintings.
-I don’t do digital artwork. I don’t know how to run Photoshop yet.
-I usually only sell original artwork. If you would really like to have a print of something I have already created, talk to me and we can work something out.
-I reserve the right to refuse commissions for any reason.
-Art is subjective. Expect a creative and unique result. You are paying for my time and effort put into it. I am not liable for artwork you do not like because you didn’t give me enough details to work with, so I took creative liberty.
-I reserve the right to put my signature on the painting, and it shall not be removed under any circumstances.
- No refunds on any of the artwork, commissioned or not
-When doing a pencil portrait, I will require a photo to reference sent via email. Must be high resolution.
-I will send a photo after the commission is completed. After approval is received, it will be shipped within 3 days. Shipping usually takes a week. I will provide a tracking number.
-There shall be no reproductions made under any circumstances.
-I reserve the right to post the work on my websites and/or sell prints of said work, unless they are of a personal nature, such a child portraits
-Please don’t intentionally destroy the artwork. I pour my heart and soul into each and every piece I create. They’re like my children. Treat them with care.
- I am not responsible for damage due to negligence, improper handling, or lack of knowledge on how to care for my pieces. If you don’t know, ask.
-If you choose to not purchase the art piece at the end of the commission, you can do so. I will keep the artwork and the inital 50% non-refundable deposit(s).
