I use to roleplay tons on Tumblr years ago. I've come back to post art, make friends, and have fun.
I might rant or whine sometimes, but it's never about a specific thing unless I say so. I'll try to label these as some kind of "rant" tag so you can block them out if needed. Sometimes I just need to vent!
I'm a hermit for many reasons (mostly chronic illness), so art and writing keep me going. :)
I'm mostly going to focus on an older crowd, so I would suggest not following me if you're underage! I won't block you for it unless I see you interacting with my nsfm posts.

If CJ gets incredibly wasted on musical alcohol or funny plant codes, or is hit really, really hard, he'll act Puppety again for a small while until he snaps out of it.
CJ came to be when a team of anti-virus surgeons removed him from the NEO body to a newly made EX body by Swatch. Even though they managed to quarantine and destroy Friend, some of the residual coding of NEO itself remains within him.
He has a 1.997% chance any time he's angry that he'll want to kill someone.
What if Jive was the Lord of his own Dark World? (aka, Jive and Tenna swap places, in a sense) A silly little AU I did for fun!!

ALL INFO (VERY LONG. you have been warned. probably one of the longest posts I've made, oof):
Normal shadowguys? Limited in what they can do. They can slip in and out. maybe shift their shape. But they're overall very limited and basic in their functions.
Maestro Jive:
Size control: He can be big or small!!
Stretchy shadowy form!! Long reach, quick travel by taking biiiiggg loooonnngggg steps :)
Ability to conduct the performance of others in various ways
Can actually talk?? Maybe?? (The sound font for his text would still be a saxophone cuz it's funny)
Isn't a normal Shadowguy, he's a representation of a record player.
Hammerspace: He can pull out a horn to shout into it to aid in his conducting if necessary.
Can also go in and out of shadows, too!
I think him being the Lord of the Dark World also explains why he's more bronze/brown in color rather than black and white like the other shadowguys.. his little shadow orchestra

the world is 100% music themed. Maybe it looks like a whole theater for concerts. the overall Dark World, I mean. Theater/stage for all the performances and music and shows. "Green Room" being more like a Velvet Lounge type of Lobby area where you'd find other Darkners.
He's the conductor, the host.
Zappers being the doormen & such. Pippins being additional staff, ticket guys. Ramb's the janitor.. and runs the concessions.
the Mike's could be sorta like Phantom of the Opera types or something idk.. I'm making this up on the spot.
I can see Ralsei having to sing as his thing. idk if Susie can do a performance, unless she dances?? That'd be kinda silly to watch her try to do!
Kris has to face a piano. but that doesn't come to fruition, the piano is destroyed and Jive rushes in to close the scene and apologize to his audience/show-goers. He's very not happy about that, but he's not really mad. They only had the one piano tho!!! (opera singer Elnina and pianist Lanino duo… they could swap who does what, being talented like that… Their designs are based off/inspired by two really well known operas!)
I can see his shadow being huge and him taking full advantage of this. He has more power and control of his shadow. Being able to engulf the whole stage/theater with it. Traveling through the shadows.
He's benign. Benevolent. Just wants to make music and perform song and dance. Entertain everyone. (but for some who are Going Through It™ music and performance as distractions… they aren't something they want nor need.. so that still kinda ties into that there.)

I need you guys to imagine that he is in the middle of a BIG FULL-HOUSE-ORCHESTRA event and some idiot tries to interrupt and take over but Jive calmly clears his throat, taps the stand and conducts all the shadowguys who are ALL having the same thought and grinning wildly.
They all drop their instruments and whip out their weapons (which vary hilariously) and aim them at the poor idiot.
I suck at coming up with attacks and names for them, BUT:
I think it would be so cool if the battle field in-game became a giant record and the tonearm comes in and starts making some attacks spin into the field and you gotta like.. maneuver the soul out of the way of the attacks. but the thing is. the attack is music notes and it changes pattern with the battle music.
Same issue as normal Tenna, I suppose. just.. not violent and scary and terrorizing his staff/performers. He's just stressed a little cuz he can't do much to help his lightners. He can't lift the mood.. not for all of them. The TV is out of service and the record player is the only thing left to fill the silent void left behind.
(he's still around. just not really used at all anymore. Like that old TV in your grandparents' house that isn't plugged in and hasn't been for the past 30 years. they got a new one that they use instead, but that old one either is in storage, or sits like a decoration on a shelf, on a table, somewhere in that house.

(Tenna working as the doorman(??) for the Dark World. He plays the performances on his screen for anyone who was unlucky to get a ticket inside to see it for real (the not the same on tv, it's so much more spectacular to see in person!!). He'll tell you what the performances are and what's coming up next.
Tenna is also a very normal height, probably somewhere around 5'7" for average. He can't change sizes or anything. (whenever you re-enter the Velvet Lounge (lobby) he'll have a little pop-up speech bubble that reads "Hello again, stars! Please enjoy the Velvet Lounge!")
But you could get a little more info from him if you keep interacting with him. He wishes one day he could be on the stage and perform something for the audience. But he's still happy getting to televise the performances to anyone in the lobby and even outward to the rest of the Dark Worlds via the cameras (Shuttahs) that he works with inside the theater itself. If you ask to see a currently running show, you'll get a little flavor text about it, varying from intrigue to boredom from Kris. Susie and Ralsei will also give their thoughts on it, Susie varies similarly, but with more gusto. and Ralsei is usually more positive, finding at least 1 nice thing to say about the shows.
Tenna loves the good reviews of the shows! He sprouts a flower and does a spin and tells you that Jive will be thrilled to hear it! But if it's a negative review, he gets glooby/droopy and just "..ha… haha..! Yes.. okay….. We'll.. rearrange the time slots and… try again..! …yes…" Like bro is a little gutted. He isn't even the one in charge. He just has a fondness and love for this sort of stuff.)
Asgore gone, means there's records left to rot that were left behind.
He sits with those in his private dressing room/office. listening.. reminiscing of a better time.
the place isn't nearly as bright and shiny as it used to be.
it's a little dull. a little scuffed here and there from use. but.. it's home. it's a well loved and a well worn theater of music and show.
it's not likely that Toriel would be rid of them, so they don't have that to worry about, but..
hmm.. How about we put on another number? Like the good ole days, yeah? Nothing too crazy.

The phonograph is subtle. But if you look at the tailcoat taile... it's like the horn of the phonograph. (Or gramophone.. I can't remember the difference)

The one genre he plays most is Jazz
He's always conducting everyone and everything, even when he doesn't mean to. it's just his nature. trying to make sure all the shows go on as planned and make sure everyone is upbeat (hah) and all.

Jive, looks to the turntable actively playing: But.. Something came up. Had to blow this stand.. Left behind a memento-- this record. This.. was their song. We had recorded many together back in the day. Before.. before they said too much.

Jive: -stops the record from playing-

Chipjack is a newly constructed EX form for Spamton. Once a broken salesman, he's turned manipulation and sales into the art of entertainment as a casino dealer. Beneath his charm and bravado lies the same hungry spark now refined with wit, control, and grace.

Canon-Divergent - Chipjack's story starts after the NEO battle. His NEO body was abandoned within the basement of the Queen's manor, so he did not go forward with the Lighteners.
AU Portrayal - Chipjack is my invention after many many revisions! He's still Spamton, and still enjoys scamming people... simply in a legal way. ;) He no longer has FRIEND inside of him.
Post-NEO - described above :)
[N]SFW - Chipjack has a lot of angst and heavy themes involved, please use caution if you are sensitive to these topics: Recovery akin to addiction, traumatic memories, pain, torture, flashbacks, aggressiveness, self harm, abuse, sexual themes, and so on. I will use tags for heavier themes and suggestive/sexual stuff. Not sure what the tag is yet so stay tuned. I am open to shipping! Chipjack swings both ways.

Selective - Please be aware: I am a selective writer! This is nothing against anybody, I simple know what I like to write and what sort of writing I like to do with others. Examples of things I may not be privvy to writing with: Yumeshipping, self-inserts, kink usage with things such as the GROSS bodily fluids, zoophilia, pedophilia, feet, and so on. Writers that are minimal on plots -- I don't mind if you write short things sometimes -- that's fine for banter and simple interactions! However, if we agree to write out an actual plot, I would like someone that at least attempts to match! :)
I am also selective in writing with universes I don't know -- again, not a you thing! Just if a Marvel character interacts with Chipjack, I might not be sure how to respond. So priority will go to characters and threads that are in similar or adjacent universes, or ones I do know about.
UTDRRP - Chipjack is a Deltarune centric character, but he can probably fit into Undertale somehow..................
