Jeff Sessions’ anti-crime champion Steve Cook has one answer for our incarceration crisis: more jail.

Jails are overflowing, the costs are crippling, the incarcerated are kept in inhumane conditions and far too many people go without serious rehabilitation, only to end up back in jail again.

It’s taken decades, but the consensus from researchers, law enforcement officials is that mass incarceration and the war on drugs is a failed project.

Not so, according to Steve Cook, the new head of Sessions’ Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety.

Cook is a well known opponent of criminal justice reform, and is known for clinging to outdated beliefs about public safety.

Namely: In his estimation, the only solution to crime is to put people in jail for as long as possible. Read more (5/31/17)

This looks like the dog is showing respect to the human, he doesn’t dare challenge the human while the human is eating. Like that just seems like such a wild dog thing to do, and I think its so cool to see in a normal dog.

I have been thinking about ways we can use our blog and our WoW RP community to connect and spread good tidings. With that in mind, I’ve decided to run a charity drive this year. Depending on how successfully it goes - we may make this an annual event! I am hoping you guys will jump on board and help us make this lots of fun for a good cause.

Our charity for 2016 is The United Way of Genesee County - Flint Water Fund.

“The United Way of Genesee County has set up this fund for the purchase of filters, bottled water, emergency support services and prevention efforts. 100% of the fund is used for these projects and no Administrative Fee is assessed.”
