maybe i'm the queen of cornplating but it's so important to me that jokūbas and alanas don't actually want to dance and shake their heads when lukas2 tries to convince them. when they finally agree, they the colors are too bright, the image is weirdly distorted and everything seems wrong
if that mv is really about the fear of becoming a distorted version of oneself under external pressure, it's genius
i literally just wanted to post about the very same thing. the more i think about it, the more i realize how brilliant this music video is. the interactions with the second lukas seem so forced and unnatural. when i saw the video for the first time, i thought they just wanted to make a silly video just for fun. the positive energy confused me because i didnt think it matched the seriousness of the song, but it‘s actually so fucking genius. there is sooo much hidden meaning behind the double.
SAMEE i didn't even notice the double on first watch😭 i respect lukas a lot for not revealing the meaning of his songs and music videos but i'm dying to know what he wanted to convey here. like is it about the pressure from industry or fans. or more of a personal conflict when you are afraid to betray yourself by feeling too much joy

katarsis never lets you forget that joy is temporary
i love how they made the uncanny valley effect more subtle
something different
“They’re just looking for attention.”
Oh, a human being is seeking a social response? Human being, the social animal wired to make and track social connection? A human desires the vital blood that permitted their species to survive for millennia? The human being who was born completely helpless and primed in every way by nature to seek attention and help from their community?
Wow that’s crazy. How embarrassing. Humiliating even. Should we isolate them from community? Should we call Wire Mother?
rasa outro is the most beautiful 55 seconds in the history of music. how is it even possible to write such a melody. THAT note right after the scream makes my heart sink every time. and also the soft drum in the end sounds like a slow heartbeat that eventually stops. the body is dead but the new flowers are growing
