I know you probably are seeing this a lot on your dashboards and I know it might be a bit irritating but this is really serious!
I never normally stray from what each of my blogs is about but I need people to see and to know what is happening in Australia.
At the moment, there is a state of emergancy right across Australia, heavly concentrated on the east coast (Vic, NSW and QLD).
Quite a bit of land is being destroyed, native animals are losing their habitats and their lives, people in NSW and Gippsland are being driven out of their homes with basically nowhere to go, and many Aboriginals who live in the Alice Springs area are having their traditional land destroyed with again, nowhere to go.
I live in the outer suburbs of Melbourne and am far enough away to not be in danger, however, there is a layer of smoke covering the city and the suburbs from the fire, we recently had rain but even then, the fires still rage on.

Please help if you can, Australia suffers through bushfires every year, and every year they get worse. I have grown up fearing fire and learning how to escape if necessary. Thankfully I’ve never needed to use that information, but it would really help those who have needed it.
Please, its our time of need, and we are extremely desperate.
