I didn't have to.
What are the healthy foods that you eat everyday? Breakfast, lunch etc.
I stay away from junk and fried foods. I eat low sodium food. When I cook at home its just meat or fish with vegetables and brown or white rice. Also snack on fruits daily, like strawberries, black berries, rasberries, apples, bananas or carrots . Basically eating what fitness people eat. Also, you can take fish oil supplements to help with your cholesterol levels. I don't use dressings on my salad. I eat my salad with chopped fruits like strawberries and pomelo or grapefruit. It's not always affordable to eat healthy so I do what I can.
Hey, man. I heard you said you have heart problems? Coronary heart disease included. Well I myself have heart disease because of what I ate before, but I want to get on T. Will it put me at risk and kill me? How were you able to do it? Thanks!
Hey! Yes I have coronary artery disease. My heart is perfectly fine and healthy, i just have artery spasms a lot that can cause another heart attack. But im on meds that is controlling the symtoms. If you have actual heart problems, you can talk to your doctor’s about it. If you are over 18, it’s your decision.
I met with the gender therapist for the 1st time and got my referrals same day (11/16/5). When I met my endocrinologist, she went over my medical history and sent my Cardiologist a note for approval. My cardiologist didn’t hesitate and approved me. Meeting the therapist, seeing the doctor and waiting for my cardiologist took 2 - 3 days top and I was able to start T on 11/19/15.
My endo told me that T does not cause heart problems and there hasn’t been any case to prove it. She said as long as I stay healthy and eat healthy I will be fine. Men has a higher risk than women. So for us to start t, we may develop the same risk as men. However, as long as we stay healthy we should be fine. She also said if I start to have any problems, we can reduce the dosage and I can stop T and restart anytime I want to.
Make an appt with a gender therapist for your referrals. Then when you meet with your endo, he/she will talk to you about it and tell you whats needed before you can start.
I hope that helps. I’m almost 3 months on T and I haven’t had any problems. I’m working out and eating healthy. Best wishes!
the world is so beautiful
My home. The Bay Area!
wow you're really gorgeous! it's good to see some Asian transguys, I'm Asian too but haven't seen a lot of other Asian transguys! quick question: how do you do your hair?
Hello! Thanks for the compliment! True, I don't see many Asian transguys out there as well. When I do, I get excited haha. I hope to see more. I use pomade hair product on my hair. I first blow dry my hair (when wet) to get volume. Then I apply the pomade gently into my hair and style it with my hands. You can find videos on YouTube on how to style your hair using pomade. Lots of hair tutorials. I should do one ...eventually. Pomade is awesome man. You can find me on YouTube if you like to follow my transition . https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIPUHWkb83FkxM8vcZR3RkgThanks for hitting me up. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Hope you are doing well and life is treating you good! Peace & LoveJulz
7 weeks on T. Slight changes on my face makes me feel a bit more confident. Transmasculine.

Rather stay female
I’m scared that I’ll end up looking like so many trans guys I’ve seen online.
So many just seem to look like butch lesbians with deep voices. I wish I knew what I would look like post-transition. It’s something that is really putting me off coming out and transitioning…
I would rather stay female then get stuck in that weird in between.
Loving yourself is very important. Not all FTM's looks butchy. As a matter of fact I don't think any of them look butchy. They just look like the person they are. Take a leap of faith and go with what makes you happy. You can always stop T if you don't like the side effects. You would never know unless you try. I'm only 3 weeks on T and no matter what I'll look like in the future, I know I'll be more comfortable with myself.
This morning I woke up and was thinking, "wow, I'm really on T now and in 4 months I'll get top surgery. " I just can't believe how everything happened so fast. Timing is everything. When the time is right you will know. It took me 10 plus years to finally decide on going through with this transition. I had a lot of things to deal with, such as my health and trying to keep myself on track mentally. A lot of bad shit is going happen in life and the best way to deal with it is look for the brighter side. Being positive will take you very far. Your life isn't over because of one terrible situation. They say if it doesn't kill you it only makes you stronger. Just smile and your day will get brighter.
You don't know me and I do not know you, but I just wanted to tell you that you are a inspiration. Just keep being who you are and the world will shine brighter, you gorgeous man! You and your girlfriend better hug each other extra tight tonight cause you both deserve the best this world can offer!
Thank you for your very kind message. I greatly appreciate it. Hope all is well. Happy holidays! =)
So thankful to have a girlfriend who accepted me pre-t and during my transition (3 weeks on T now). She's more excited about the changes than I am. When you have a girl that loves you for you, appreciate her and don't take her for granted. She's helping me in so much ways like helping me stay positive through this transition. I am grateful for her, my queen.
