Antinous' Traits: Unstable, Forceful, Aggressive, Psychotic, Cruel
Do not read if you are sensitive to these topics.
I do not condone these actions or behavior. This is fictional and made for entertainment purposes.
A/N: Art found on Pinterest. This was written without any specific design in mind other than Antinous is a person of color and has a scar over his eye or somewhere on his face
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Constant touch. Antinous has no idea what personal space is unless he doesn't want to be touched. His favorite is a sudden hug from behind that genuinely feels like he's trying to strangle you. That being said, it could become very intense since his affection can borderline be considered sexual harassment.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
Stains on everything. His clothes and garments became more frequently stained once he started to obsess over you. Antinous would kill suitors in a heartbeat if they stared a bit too long for his approval. However, he would still do it logically and have a plan for it rather than killing them without thinking. Either way, his hands would be covered in blood, and he would still offer his hand for you to hold.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
When and if it does reach the point of kidnapping you, he would see you less as an equal and more as a pet or trophy. Whatever form of equality among you two would be irrelevant to him once he abducted you and wouldn't be above mocking/degrading you at the start.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
Yes. Antinous doesn't take no for an answer and would laugh that you even thought whatever he said was a question. However, it would depend on what it is. He offered you some of his food at dinner, and you said no? He'll still put it on your plate but won't say anything else about it. But if it was something like rejecting his affection or avoiding him, he's going to force you in some way to accept it.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
Depends on the circumstances. Antinous is very two-faced, but even then, his true self is present no matter what. He knows he is selfish, cruel, and vain, and he doesn't see a reason to hide that part of him. However, he also believes he could be different if that pain was taken away.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Amused and irritated. He would find it funny the first time but would give you a warning that would make you never think about or even consider fighting again. If you don't listen to his warning and do it again, he would put you in your place through harsh abuse such as starving you as punishment or even chaining you to a bed.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
It would start as a game, perhaps even a bet, to see if Antinous could get you to sleep with him within a week or two. However, as time went on, he would see it as less and less of a game to get you to lay with him and more of a courtship to marry you. It isn't until he kidnaps you and you try to escape does he start seeing it as a simple cat and mouse chase.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Attempting rape. No matter what Antinous is or does, he would still try. He would never be above forcing himself on anyone, no matter how he feels towards them. He would make it feel like it was your fault for what he was doing to you and even try to convince you that you asked for this.
The reason I say attempting instead of actually doing it is because he wouldn't penatrate. He would rip off your clothes and try something, but he would stop before he forced himself in. He would leave you shaking and crying and with barely any form of guilt or regret for what he did.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
Marriage and with him as a king. Doesn't matter who you are or what you do. He will be the king of Ithaca with you by his side. Assuming you aren't in the place of Penelope and he does marry her, he would take you as his consort and make you some kind of advisor so you could stay by his side 24/7.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
He's jealous no matter what. Antinous would be jealous of a literal book you're reading, and he would be very petty about it. He would throw whatever is having your attention into a damn fire and say something along the lines of: "There. Now, I want your eyes on me and my hands underneath your clothes."
If it was with a person, he would glare at them to the point they actually feel like he's killing them with his eyes. If it goes on for too long, Antinous would walk over, grab you, and then make out wth you for a good few minutes. He would glare at the person while doing so and would make sure you didn't pull away.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
Flirtatious and a hint of sweetness and care that you can't tell if it's real or venom that just tastes sweet. Antinous would act caring and be a flirt around you if others were near and sometimes when it's just you two. However, his venom is always lurking underneath and comes out at any moment, especially during moments of jealousy and arguments.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
He tries to be subtle and put on a fake charming act to hide his urges to just snatch and smother you right then and there. He's patient for the most part. Would give a thoughtful gift occasionally, or offer to have a meal with you. As much as it seems genuine, his smile just looks a bit too forced to seem truly real, because deep down all he wants is for you to be his and he is willing to put on whatever act he needs to get what he wants.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Antinous' true colors were never completely hidden from you or others, especially once he finally drops all the acts that he has put on for you. He doesn't hide how crude he is or the brutal way he can be when it comes to certain aspects of whatever relationship has formed between you. However, Antinous still hide shis true intentions even when he has you kidnapped and at his mercy.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
Antinous is rather sadistic even when it comes to you, and it shows in his punishments. His go to is always starvation or isolation, because even if he is a brute, he doesn't see violence as the main way to go with punishments for you. He still loves you even if he claims your just a "special toy" and different from the other broken toys he used to have. However, that doesn't mean he's above beating or hitting you into submission when he finally cracks.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Practically everything. He takes away more rights as time goes on till you are completely dependent on his approval before doing anything. The farthest he would ever go is having you permanently chained to his bed where he feeds and basically watches you. He might read you a book as a little treat or just talk to you as if you weren't being restrained.
He would also pick you up to carry you wherever your needs are met, like the bathroom to use the toilet or to bathe you. Basically if all your rights are ripped away, you're treated like a helpless pet.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
Considering he can wait nearly two decades yet still slowly cracking as years go by, he surprisingly patient if you play your cards right. If you haven't been kidnapped yet, he's patient enough to put on fake smiles and kindness that you still can't tell if it's genuine or not. When that patience comes to end, he finally decides to kidnap you.
Once he does, his patience is barely there. You drove him to the point of kidnapping, so why should he have any left? He will become rather forceful while still trying to keep his intentions hidden and his behavior under control. Otherwise, he might just start using physical violence as his main punishment.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
Antinous would truly feel lost for once in his life if you were to kick the bucket. In his cruel and vile mind, he thought that you would be the one to help heal his pain and wash the blood off of his hands. Antinous is one of those yanderes who would kill themselves if their darling dies, especially by his own hand, because there is a possibility of him losing control and killing you in a fit of rage.
If you left or escape, he would hunt you down as if you were prey. In his subconscious, it becomes a game of predator and prey. He would get so deep into that predator mindset that he would use real hunting tactics and tricks to track you down. When he does get you and you weren't kidnapped, then you will be very soon. However, if you already were...then you'll wish that you were dead once he gets his hands on you.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
Whatever guilt he will ever feel is if he accidentally kills you or he feels responsible for your death if you die on his watch. He would never regret kidnapping you, and he would never let you go until you agree to marry him. When you do actually marry him, and if he becomes king, he would completely forget that he kidnapped you in the first place.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
(Considering his VA's version of "Just A Man")
His childhood or who he was before Epic is possibly what caused this side to form. He knows that this world is cruel, and whatever light in it is either foolish or has yet to be corrupted. And that's how he sees you. A light in his dark world that can touch him and not be tainted by the blood on his hand. You're a gift from the gods as a reward for all the blood he has shed. You were given to him to cleanse all the pain he feels and caused. And he will never see you as anything more or less.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
It doesn't surprise him, but he doesn't feel enjoyment in it either. It's one thing for you to scream or cry during a punishment, especially if it's when he attempts rape, but just out of the blue with no prompt? It just doesn't sit right with him. And isolating yourself also makes him feel weird considering that's one of his go to punishments.
He wouldn't know what to do, but he wouldn't mock you. If anything, he would sit beside you silently and just listen. After a few moments of silence between you two, he would gently pull you down to rest on his shoulder. His arm wrapped around you loosely...his thumb occasionally rubbing your arm or even your cheek.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
Antinous would play the waiting game longer than most yanderes would. He would also be one of the few who unintentionally kill their darling and then themselves on purpose afterwards. No point in living if you're not here.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
His hidden tenderness and vulnerability he refuses to show. Unless there's a moment when you are completely broken down and at your lowest, he won't show shit beyond the selfish man he is. When you're at your lowest, he might start to show parts of him that he deems as weakness.
If you're a good actor and can hide a weapon well, you can try to pull a fake breakdown and vulnerable moment....though be careful, because if you can't pull it off flawlessly and Antinous either catches you when you escape or see through your act...he won't show his true vulnerable side again which means your chances of actually receiving genuine care and love from him are practically gone.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Yes. As stated several times, he can accidentally kill you, will use physical abuse if pushed far enough, and will attempt to rape you. Antinous will never be gentle unless you can permanently break down his walls and he let's you explore his heart.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
Antinous is under the impression that you are a gift from the gods for all the blood he has shed and you're here to help cleanse him of the sins he has committed. He may not worship you like a deity, but when and if you get a "happy ever after" with his walls broken down and supposedly him as king, he might start treating you like an equal and with respect. Almost like he did before when he was courting you with his charming act. At least this time it might actually be genuine.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
He can wait years, but he doesn't hide his patience slowly deteriorating since you can practically hear the cracks in his heart with every rejection. And he basically permanently snaps once he has you kidnapped until he starts to be gentle and treat you as if he actually loves you for once.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
There are several times where he could break you. To start, if he doesn't kidnap you and you love him willingly before he snaps, he considers that as breaking you, because you fell for the fake acts he put on.
Another way of breaking is when he finally uses his worst punishment which is attempting to rape you. He does that punishment with the intention that you will be broken afterwards and start to take him seriously.
Lastly is him killing you. If you some how survive that, he would more than likely be the broken one instead of you, because he never wanted to kill you in the first place. He would more than likely beg for your forgiveness and even offer for you to kill him, claiming the only way for him to be better to love you if he stops hurting you...and the only way he can is by dying by your hand.
