There was a snowstorm headed your way and you don't get those often where you live, but it was enough to send the city spiraling and shops closing.
Ted Lasso was afraid to miss you, so he made a deal.
"How 'bout I come over and we just have a big ol' snugglefest? Nowhere to go, nothin' to see. We can just hang out - the two of us?"
Your mouth dropped open, and then you smiled bigger than you have in a long time.
"I take that adorable face as a yes," Ted said, leaning in to kiss your lips gently.
So here you were, at home, the shops already flipping their signs to "Closed" while you got out a pile of blankets, some candles, and made some cookies.
"Mmmmmm! Smells good in here, sugar!" Ted called as he stomped off some of the snow from his shoes in your doorway.
"Comin' down out there," he said as he unzipped his coat, and then rounded the corner and saw you in your cozy clothes.
"You are a sight for sore eyes, honey," he says softly, opening his arms to hug you. "Ready for our snowy sleepover?"
He wiggles his eyebrows at you and you could eat him up right then and there.
The snow falls outside the window, the candles are lit and you watch a movie. When it's over, you let the quiet darkness of the room take over, snuggled with Ted in his Kansas City BBQ t-shirt and joggers.
"I'm glad we did this," he murmurs, his voice and drawl low. "I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else on a night like this."
"Me, too. Thanks for coming over," you offer, turning your face up so he can kiss your lips.
Ted grabs his phone and turns on some soft music, Christmas tunes that are just right with the holiday around the corner.
You squeeze him a little tighter.

"I need ya, sugar," Ted whispers against your ear while he kisses your neck, your hand drifting down under the blanket to his tented joggers.
"Ohhh, and that's makin' it worse," he says with a low chuckle, as you grin with his lips.
His own hand skates under your pajama pants and down your hip and your back arches just right...
"Bedroom?" he asks, nibbling on the lobe of your ear..
"Bedroom," you answer as you move to the bed and fall into it together, the music still playing softly in the other room.
