The Party

Ben kept his eyes on her, keeping their gaze connected as Addy soon spoke. Already getting ready to shoot him down. Or at least his thought. I mean really, who calls someone sweet when they actually like whats happening? Disney princesses thats who. Not realistic.  His eyes shifted to a stranger as he walked up to them. Ben’s expression static as he listened to the other male speak. His lips hinting a smile after his command. Kiss his cheek? This must have been a protective brother joke. But Benjamin’s thoughts came to a halt as she spoke again, his attention returning to the female. Much to his surprise her answer wasn’t at all what he was expecting. He cocked a brown at the blonde female. She couldn’t be serious right? A slight smirk smoothed out his lips. He lowered his eyes back to her hand in his, lifting his gaze over her to meet hers once again. Ben stood himself up in front of her, looking down at her as he took a slow step forward. His smirk slowly faded as he lifted a hand towards her face. His fingers tracing back over her jawline Ben drew himself closer. “Kiss me.” He ordered in a whisper against her soft lips. The hand in hers slowly releasing as he brushed his lips to hers. His hand coming up to rest on the other side of her jaw, lips moving with hers. Leading her lips to follow with his movements. The kiss didn’t last very long. Ben slowly disconnected them. Resting his slightly parted lips just against hers.

Addy watched, amused, as Ian intervened her (hopefully faux) proposal by telling her suitor that he needed a kiss from him first. “What? You’re really going to just give away my hand in marriage just like that?” she joked, feigning shock. Turning back to the man knelt down in front of her, she caught the smirk that appeared on his face after her comment about willing to do anything. She hadn’t actually planned to follow through with that statement, but she couldn’t exactly tell people that either. This dare was really biting her in the ass.

She kept her eyes on the blonde cautiously as he moved to stand up. As he took a step towards her, she took a step back to keep the distance between the two. She wore a confused expression on her face when the man caressed her face, getting a little too close to her for her liking. “What are you d-,” she began to ask, only to be interrupted by his demand. Kiss him?

“Umm, I’m sorry, wha-,” and before she knew it, a pair of lips stopped her mid-sentence. Her eyes widened at what was happening, but just as she went to push him away, the kiss ended. Addy took a step back away from him, now unamused. “I’m going to hope that that was your dare,” she said, giving him the benefit of the doubt.
