Went to London on a whim this weekend. I wasn't planning on visiting London this year, but I'm really glad I did. Whenever I go there, I'm always reminded how much I love that city. I don't know what it is about London, but there's a magic about it that makes me fall in love with it every time.

and to finish of the week right, i went to a FCBarça game! i've always wanted to go to a pro soccer game, and i can't believe Barça was my first! they won 3-1 against Sporting Lisbon. It was a fun game and a great way to say "Adios" to Spain.

Our third day there we rode vespas through Barcelona. So much fun! Barcelona is so pretty too. With our crew, it looked like a vespa parade. Definitely up there on my favorite memories this year.

Barcelona is amazing! Their lifestyles are awesome too. Siestas in the middle of the day and partying straight into the morning? I don't know... maybe people in the States would be a little more satisfied with life if they all took naps in the middle of the day. But really... Barcelona is a great mix of the city feel with a beachy feel to it. The only downside to the city are its world class pickpockets. Fortunately I didn't have a run in with any, but my friends did.

SPRING BREAK 2012! woohoo! I was supposed to go to Norway this week to visit my brother and get some boarding in, but flights and housing got too expensive. Me and my friend hitched onto a big group of our friends who were heading out to Barcelona for the week. Best alternative in my opinion! This was the view from our 6 AM flight that justified getting up at 3:45 in the morning... it was a good start to an awesome week!

i learned a lot about the israeli and palestinian conflict last week. the coolest thing i learned was that all they wanted was peace, but it's complicated and difficult to achieve. but there's definitely power in prayer. pray for the peace of jerusalem.

one of my favorite things i did in israel was riding a camel. camels quickly became my new favorite animal. they're so cute. and weird.

caught the sunset over the mediterranean sea the first day we got there. absolutely beautiful.
