I think one of my favorite things about Bly Manor is how, when you watch it again and again, you get to see all the ways Jamie loves Dani. She includes all the little teases about Dani being American, how bad she was at making tea, her annoying fake accent, her silly way of making awful, awful jokes to break tension, how clingy she was, and how foolish sometimes. Jamie could have left all that out, she could have let those details fall away and forgotten them after all that time in the face of Dani's Great Sacrifice, but she didn't. She includes them, because she remembers them, because she remembers Dani exactly as she was, because she loves Dani exactly as she was. She doesn't love an idea or a value or a concept or a belief. She loves Dani, in everything she was. Bly Manor is one of the greatest love stories ever told and I hope people keep on hearing and listening to it.
Overthinking will not only kill your mind, but also your heart, your soul, your mood, your magic and your love. It is the most subtle yet most effective form of self-destruction.
I hope I cross your mind once in a while so I don't feel pathetic for thinking of you all the time.

Enid: Mango is the second best fruit.
Wednesday: Controversial, but I’ll bite. What’s the first?
Enid, without hesitation: Me.
Wednesday:
Wednesday, scorned: You rank me below mango?

To the Anon about having a concept for the tv show, I hear ya. It’s tough when you have an idea but no clue how to go about executing it.
So the thing is, for legal reasons I really can’t hear your whole story concept out because if it was similar to anything I might be working on, it could obviously create a conflict.
What I’d suggest is deep diving on Google for “how to create a tv pilot” and “creating a tv bible” and “I have a tv show idea, now what” type topics and learn the basics. Then put the concept to paper. Even just as a rough thing. Just getting it down in an organized way as far as a title, a logline, a short summary of the overall concept, a brief run down of the main characters and maybe even a short treatment for the pilot, etc.
Then from there, either learn the basics of screenwriting (I’m self taught and I have faith that anybody with a sense of passion and hard work can learn on their own as well) and try to flesh it out yourself in a full Pilot, or, try to partner with an aspiring or up and coming screenwriter who knows more about the technical side of screenwriting and has the time and interest in developing this thing with you.
I wish I could help you more but I’m swamped with my own stuff and really have to be careful right now on these fronts, especially in the space and involving the actresses you’re talking about, due to some other things I’m working on (which is also why I didn’t publish your Anon so not to reveal anything for either of us).
Hope you understand. Thanks! And, good luck! 💜
T’NIA MILLER as Hannah Grose in The Haunting of Bly Manor Episode 1: The Great Good Place
Miss her. The best of Bly Manor, and since all parts of Bly Manor were amazing… that says a lot.
I am SO looking forward to watching T’Nia Miller in Amazon’s The Peripheral.

EXCLUSIVE: Daniel Cohan has joined Brillstein Entertainment Partners as a manager. Cohan comes to the company from ICM Partners, where he worked in the Motion Picture Department since 2017, parting…
So, my (now former) agent just became my second manager! I’m super pumped to be along for the ride on his new journey. Amazing guy.
And yes, dual management!
Entertainment 360 + Brillstein Entertainment = UNSTOPPABLE
Let’s do this. Big things ahead. 😈
Just realized this is my first industry trade mention as a screenwriter. 😎
SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!

Is it normal to still be bitter about a tv show?
Supergirl made a wrong decision in putting Mon-El and Kara together in season 2. The character of Mon-El was disliked by fans and critics alike. But then they brought him back for season 3 and put the main character in a weird love triangle thing.
The part I’m bitter about is the fact they could’ve brought him back and have him say something like “hey, I was a douchebag and treated you badly and I’m very sorry for that. Now that I am with my wife, I see that I wasn’t really in love with you, just the idea of you and that I was wrong for you. I hope we can move past it and become friends.” And then have him be the bimbo comedy character that becomes a great friend to Kara and the rest of them, instead of the stupid love triangle we got 😩
They stacked mistake on top of mistake. He shoulda been the himbo sidekick seeking redemption as her PLATONIC friend from the get. Just the comic relief through which she learns patience and THAT’S IT. But even after they fumbled the ball, they went and fumbled again in S3 by trying to make the lead heroine the other woman in someone else’s marriage while they made him look worse and worse…
Then fumbled the ball again with Lena/James (since up to that point James only badmouthed and diminished Lena), then fumbled again with Kara/William. Then fumbled again bringing Mon-El back two more times to taint the otherwise fan friendly 100th and finale. Just yikes on top of yikes on so many fronts from the romantic angles to queerbaiting Supercorp since 2x01, to their treatment and villainizing of BlPOC/POC, to the treatment of LGBTQ characters on camera and off, to inconsistent and lazy writing, to low production quality, to bad marketing and PR and fan relations and so on and so forth…
So yeah, it’s understandable. Something once so full of potential, with the ripest most fantastic lore subverting ship (SC) at their fingertips — and they fumbled it. All of it. From Season 2 onward. Despite having the most overall talented cast of any show on that network.
But anywho.
and reason for all of that? Homophobia and sexism... its honestly laughable how f*cking stupid that
Ayyye Supercorp just won Warner Brazil’s poll for best couple during Pride month. They were included with only canon couples (😏), and still won. And Kara won for character who had the most injustice / poor treatment or whatever. Dansen was up for best kiss, and had a ton of votes but “Choni” (not even sure what show that’s from tbh) beat ‘em out, dang.
Anywho. Very cool for SC fans to pull off the win against so many lead canon couples!
