And there’s so much variety nowadays, like you pretty much said,” she hummed. “Okay, but if you did do a whole album based on food, you’d end up getting so much free food because brands would want to use the song to promote their products. It’d be so good.”

“If I did a food album, then I would end up having to do a drinks one too, got to make the full set.” Adeline mused as she looked back at the other, she was teeming with ideas. “Oh man, I don’t think my stylist would like it too much when I stop fitting in everything she tries to put me in. My trainer on the other hand would have a field day. What food would you write a song about?”

CULLEN LOOKED at Adeline over his salad. It had been pretty disappointing, so he’d resorted to picking at it, and selecting only the key bits that he favored to munch on. It had been a poor choice and he was almost jealous of the woman’s story. “you know, my instinct is to say no but then I remember that Kermit’s Lament: Nasty Boy has almost 10 K downloads on spotify. So, probably. If you do it right.”

“right? i’m starting to think, listening to most things these days that you could get away with making music about anything.” she was never one to judge other peoples music, they could express themselves however they wanted, but she did sometimes wonder where they got their ideas from. “i am sure it would be a number one, i mean people have to be fed up with love songs and break up jams, we need food music man.”

aiden licked his lips a bit, he was nervous, beyond nervous, especially due to the backlash the media was sure to have for this stunt. of course, his manager already said he had a spin on it, but aiden thought even that man had a feeling that he was considering separating. gently, he pressed a small kiss to the top of her head before resting his chin on the same spot. “not really, but i’m never really that ready to preform.” he responded.

adeline smiled up at him softly, watching his face as the thoughts run through his mind and the worry cross his face. reaching up softly she cupped his face for a moment before she buried her face against his chest. “well I’ll be out there with you for the first song...and then you’ll only have to make it through a couple of songs without me.” she assured him before she pulled back, so that he could see her as she spoke again. “they’re going to love you aiden, all by yourself, how could anyone not love you?”

Because you are getting a little dramatic again!” He replied as he looked at her laughing as she shakes his head, honestly as crazy as she could be he loved her! “ Okay, then I won’t, less work for me!” He teased looking at her.  “ And  fine cheeseburgers are amazing but they aren’t that amazing!”

“No actually, this place has so many celebrations that I decided when they’re not having a party I should try and stay sober, other wise I’d be going some serious damage to my liver.” She was surprising good at holding her alcohol for someone so tiny so she could drink more than she probably should have. “You say that like I don’t have people I pay to do my art work - but fine, what your favorite food then if not cheese burgers?”

No bills. You can scratch your back on a tree whenever you want. Seasonal weight gain is necessary. No judgement for sleeping three months at a time. It would be great. “ he went on to anyone that would gladly listen, the half lit bud finally hitting the cold pavement before meeting with the applied pressure from his own black doc martens. “ Also - don’t mind these, I look like a fucking hipster about to ramble about his avocado toasts. I’m still getting used to them.“ the male pointed at his new vintage pair of glasses hanging low on the bridge of his nose, gaze finally meeting with his interlocutor’s.

There were very few people that she liked to hang out with that she met in the business, they all wanted something, or they were just there for the pictures and the money that came with it. Joseph though, he was different. He had his own money, and sure he was an asshole to most people, most of the time, but he was different with her, and she liked to think that she kept him on track. “What have I told you, about blowing that thing around me.” Adeline coughed, blowing the smoke away from her face. “You shouldn’t be smoking anyway, but don’t go damaging my lungs, I need those.” She huffed with a laugh before she nudged his shoulder. “The glasses are cute though, they suit you, almost make you look smart.”

Evie nodded excitedly. “I’d buy the hell out of a song about cheese burgers, you know that,” she laughed. “You could write a whole album about cheeseburgers and I’d be your biggest fan even more than I am already. And imagine all the stuff you could do for a press tour!”

“I’m starting to think that most people would, I mean who doesn’t love burgers, no matter how you have them, or what you want to put on them, everyone loves a burger right?” Adeline laughed, clapping her hands together with glee. “Oh maybe we could just make a food album, like ice cream, pizza, cereal...I could do a whole set list.”

And I was having a moment of inspiration the other night but I needed fuel...and for that I needed burgers.” She knew that she was rambling at this point, but she needed context. “Needless to say, I’m half way through a song about cheese burgers, that will totally sell right?”

It was a small miracle she didn’t choke on her drink when the popstar addressed her. “Definitely,” she assured with a nod that might have read a bit exaggerated in its enthusiasm. While big crowds of people weren’t necessarily her thing, she enjoyed a good celebrations as much as the next person, especially if it came with live music. “I guess it’s safe to assume you were enjoying yourself up there? It certainly looked like you were having fun.” 

She gave the older woman a bright smile, she was beautiful, that was the first thing she noticed. There was something elegant and gorgeous about it. “If no one told you today, you look beautiful just so you know.” Adeline complimented before she turned her attention back to the stage. “Oh yea, there’s a whole lot of people out there I wasn’t quite expecting. I love every second of it.”

Bentley was backstage to escape the crowd and was taking a few seconds to himself to just breathe. Not that he would ever admit it, but being in the public eye, even as an athlete, could get to him in the weirdest of ways. The amount of photos he took with fans and locals got to be a little overwhelming, so he used his charm and status to get backstage. “Me? Oh yeah, it’s pretty dope. I mean, it could use more weed but whatevs.” His shoulders shrugged as he was speaking before he crossed his arms, forgetting she was just out there because he was waiting for more alcohol. “Shit whoops. You having fun?” The only thing was he didn’t know her name since he was a little tipsy and wasn’t really paying attention like he should have been, especially while backstage. So being chill about it, he introduced himself as Bentley and awaited to learn more about the chick who seemed to be having a blast.

Adeline paused as she took in the other male for a moment, he looked familiar and she knew that she could place his name if she thought hard enough. He wasn’t a singer she knew that...and she didn’t think that he was an actor either. “i mean my fans are a little young to need weed for a good time so...”She could safely say that she had managed to make it through her carer staying squeaky clean, she got drunk sure, but she had never felt the need to get high. “Wait...” As he continued to spoke the girl finally managed to place where the hell she had seen him before. “You’re Bentley Oakland, second QB for the patriots.” She remembered watching the draft when he had been picked, and they had probably been at a few parties at the same time before. “I’m having a great time. I haven’t been on stage in a few months so this is refreshing as hell.”
