LAS VEGAS | han jisung
January 2, 2024.
Shouts echoed, murmurs of apologies could hardly be heard. A huff of exasperation sounded and a striking fist on a desk rocketed into the room but the young woman heard none of this, for her everything was superfluous. No, what she saw was the ring on her left ring finger. A ring that was simple, that was unwanted, but yet, that had more value than anything in her life.
To know how she got there, we have to go back in time.
December 31, 2023.
Las Vegas. The city of sins. What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas.
Alcohol and more alcohol, gambling, casinos and unspoken feelings.
Y/l/n Y/n and Han Jisung.
Two distinct people, two opposite people, one was the sun, the other was the moon.
One was light, the other was shadow.
One was a rapper, the other was a singer.
Two members of Stray Kids.
Two best friends.
Two same souls.
Two soulmates.
But two hearts that beat for each other.
On this New Year's Eve that they decided to spend together, their lives were going to be turned upside down.
Two drunk people, a jewelry store, a wedding dress store, and a costume store.
A chapel, a fake Elvis Presley.
Two « -Yes, I do. »
Laughter, dances, kisses were exchanged, two bodies intertwined.
Two hearts beating in unison.
A difficult awakening, two pairs of eyes wide.
And Y/n and Jisung knew that nothing would be the same again.
January 2, 2024.
Y/l/n Y/n felt someone shake her and when she looked up, she saw the disapproving look of her leader, Christopher Banhg.
« -Don’t you have anything to say, Y/n? »
The young woman shrugged her shoulders.
Chan felt rage rising within him.
« -Nothing? Nothing? Do you have anything to say? Are you kidding me? Damn but Y/n ! You got married in Las Vegas ! Fuck, this is so irresponsible and ridiculous. Fans have taken photos of you, it's all over social medias. What do we tell them? Was it a joke? That you were so drunk you didn't even know what you were doing? No, but I’m hallucinating ! Think Y/n ! You're completely out of your mind. You are completely unconscious. »
The young woman rolled her eyes, she was fed up, fed up of being yelled at. Yes, of course they had done something stupid but deep down, she didn't regret it. She loved Han Jisung. More than anyone. Yes, it wasn't the ideal marriage but she couldn't see herself marrying anyone other than Jisung.
So she got up from her chair and turned around walking towards the door to go out when Christopher grabbed her arm.
« -Are you kidding me here? Are you really going to leave? You really have nothing in your head ! The future of the group is at stake and you… -The young woman cut him off, angry.
-No, I'm not making fun of you, Christopher. Yes I got married with Hanji, yes we were completely drunk, yes we maybe shouldn't have but you know what? I have no regrets, Jisung is my best friend, my soulmate and I am completely madly in love with him so if I had to get married, it would have to be him. So you know what, Chan, fuck you. Leave me alone, I'll find an excuse for the fans. »
And with these words, she left the room. The Stray Kids leader slowly turned towards his friend, frowning. Jisung's eyes were wide, shock clearly visible on his face.
« -She just said she's in love with me, right ? »
Bang Chan nodded, still stunned and without really understanding, Han Jisung rushed towards the door and ran after his best friend. He found her outside getting some fresh air.
He approached her slowly, his heart beating wildly.
« -Baby ? »
Hearing her favorite melody, the only woman in the group turned to her best friend, a slight smile on her lips and her cheeks red with embarrassment.
« -Is it true what you said ? Are...Are you really in love with me ? »
Y/l/n Y/n just nodded.
« -Don’t lie to me, Y/n. Please don't lie to me. My heart won't take it. My soul will not bear it. »
Still without saying a word, the young woman moved closer to Jisung, placing her hands on the latter's cheeks.
« -How could I ever lie to you, Hanji ? »
Han Jisung's lips trembled, his hands instinctively coming to rest on Y/n's waist.
And in a flash, their lips intertwined, beginning a passionate, intense dance. Their hearts beat in unison, creating a sweet ballad, a sweet melody that only their souls could hear.
The young girl's hands came to caress the back of Jisung's neck and hair and the latter's hands came to rest on the neck and cheek of the woman he loved to death.
Their lips moved together, like a symphony, like a sweet waltz.
Their souls united to form a single soul, as if they had waited for this moment for centuries.
Out of breath, the two lovers separated and Jisung couldn't help but let out a laugh, a frank laugh, a joyful laugh.
« -God Y/n, I’m so madly in love with you, I fucking love you. I love you madly, I love you so much, I love you completely, I love you lovingly, I love you infinitely, I madly love you .
-I love you too, Hanji. »
The two looked each other straight in the eye.
« -My wife.
-My husband. »
Laughter, kisses were exchanged, two bodies intertwined once again.
Two rings that they kept on their left ring fingers.
Two souls that were now one.
Two hearts that became one.
Confessed feelings.
And a lifelong memory on a piece of paper.
Mr Han Jisung
Mrs Han Y/n.
And what happens in Las Vegas, ultimately does not stay in Las Vegas.
