                         Sitting alone at the bar.                                                                       Such easy prey.                          He approached her swiftly, wearing a warm smile as he greeted her. “-Hey there!” He chimed as he placed a drink in front of her. “You look down, This one’s on me.”

           { ♥ } “Oh, uh...  Thank you.” Katherine said, taking a respectful drink of the drink placed in front of her. Buying a girl a drink was such an overdone thing in bars these days, but she would go along with it for now. “So, uh, why do I get a free drink? What’s so special about me besides looking a bit down?”

         { ♥ } “Ah, that would be nice.” She said, looking around a bit herself to see what she could see from just here. It seemed to be… quite a dark place around here. It looked like they were underground in some kind of bunker. “So, what is there to see around here?”

                         “Well over here’s the kitchen.” Liv started and since she was already there, she snuck in a bite of her food before placing a napkin back over it. It’d be bad if the new girl witnessed her go full on zombie and/or eating brains on the job. She emitted a chuckle after swallowing the bite. “You actually caught me during lunch.” She mumbled, smiling towards her before leading her around the morgue. There wasn’t that much to show but she explained what she could, reliving her first day. “Soo.. What made you want to intern here? I mean.. If you don’t mind me asking.”

        { ♥ } “Oh, ahaha... Y-Y’know, I have my... reasons... A-A girl’s gotta have secrets, right?” She said nervously, running a hand through her hair and trying her best not to seem suspicious. “I-I mean, who wouldn’t want to work in a morgue, am I right?”

         { ♥ } “Oh, uh… Yeah, that’s me.” She wasn’t expecting to meet anyone here. Especially not someone so… pale. “Uh, it’s nice to meet you, miss….?” She paused for a second, waiting for the other girl to say her name.

                         “-Olivia. But you can just call me Liv.” She shrugged her shoulders lightly, glancing at her food she didn’t get a chance to eat. Liv swallowed thickly before showing the other a smile. “Uh So. Ravi isn’t here, hes out but i guess i could show you around.”

         { ♥ } “Ah, that would be nice.” She said, looking around a bit herself to see what she could see from just here. It seemed to be... quite a dark place around here. It looked like they were underground in some kind of bunker. “So, what is there to see around here?”

                         “-Hey..” Liv started as she turned, expecting to see Ravi but instead - there was a girl. She quickly turned back around, covering her ‘lunch’. “Uh. You must be the new intern. Katherine, right?”

         { ♥ } “Oh, uh... Yeah, that’s me.” She wasn’t expecting to meet anyone here. Especially not someone so... pale. “Uh, it’s nice to meet you, miss....?” She paused for a second, waiting for the other girl to say her name.

           { ♥ } “What? No.” Katherine said, laughing a bit. She tried to hide her nervousness as best she could. Technically, that wasn’t a lie. She wasn’t a cop, she was an attorney. Two different things. “If I was a cop, do you really think I would put myself in this position? I would’ve pulled out my gun on you by now. Heheh.”

                        She moved off of her desk, putting out her now half joint. “You intrigue me. How about dinner sometime?”Ash started as she turned back towards the other girl, flashing her an almost innocent smile- as if she wasn’t a powerful drug lord. She shrugged her shoulders lightly as she approached Kathrine again. 

          { ♥ } “D-Dinner? D-Do you usually invite clients to dinner?” Katherine was caught off guard by the girl’s proposal, but what unnerved her even more was the overly innocent smile Ash had given her. “I mean... I guess I’m not opposed to the idea, but...”

            { ♥ } “I-I’m really sorry, I’m just not feeling it right now. Maybe some other time.” She said, trying to respectfully decline this time. “L-Listen, I was just here to… browse your wares, so to speak. I wasn’t really looking to use anything right now. B-But, I can see you’re busy with all your… other clients, so I’ll… come back later, okay?”

                         The ravenette just stared at her for a moment, no one usually turned down smoking with her. What the fuck. Ash went and hoisted herself up on to her desk, shrugging her shoulders lightly. “The longer I keep you here, the more uncomfortable you look. Its kinda cute actually. Besides, I have workers for a reason. You think I actually talk with each and every one of my costumers?” She scoffed before taking another drag. “ ‘Browse my wares’ ppft. Are you a cop?”

She had blown her cover way too quick. “Ahaha… Yeah, I mean, that is why I came here, but I just… don’t feel like it… at the moment, y’know? T-The mood… isn’t right. So, um… Thanks, but no thanks…” She tried to cover her ass, hoping that, by some miracle, it would work.

                        The more she talked, the more suspicious she sounded. Who needs a mood to be set to smoke a joint? She shifted her weight from one foot to the other as she watched this girl. “Is it the area? Are you scared of the hood?” a little grin curled out on her lips. “Yeah, i guess its a little scary. But i wont let anyone hurt ya. I promise. Come on, lighten up a little, sweetheart.” Ash took another hit off her joint before trying to pass it to the other again. 

            { ♥ } “I-I’m really sorry, I’m just not feeling it right now. But at the same time, she really didn’t want to do this. “Ah… Um… N-No, thank you.” She refused the joint. That was probably the most idiotic thing she could’ve done, but her instincts got the better of her. How would it look to everyone else if she came back high as a kite?

                        “Hm?” The ravenette paused, watching the other girl closely. “Didn’t you come here to buy from me? If not then why are you here?” She spat, leaning against her desk as she took another drag from her joint. She pushed herself off her desk and approached Kathrine. Blowing a cloud of smoke in her face as she spoke. “You know-” She started, but was cut off once her office doors swung open. It was her two gang members, returning with a wad of cash and a brown paper bag that seemed to be leaking something. Ash grinned, pleased with their work. “Good job, but as you can clearly see. I’m busy. Stand outside and guard the door, I’ll reward you both later.” After they had done what she asked, her gaze returned to Kathrine.

                       “Most just call me ‘boss’. But you may call me Ash.” She chimed as she began to chop some of the weed up and roll it in to a joint. It was a pretty fat one too. “If you didn’t know much, then why come here? This is a bad neighborhood, ya’ know? You could get shot right in that pretty little face of yours, if ya’ aren’t too careful.” She warned as she put the joint between her lips, lighting the other end. After taking a hit, she stood up and walked over to the other girl, offering  it to her.

                         ‘Nothing too special’                                                        Ash took so much pride in this job of hers. She liked being known for having that, ‘good shit’. Not once had she gotten a bad review. That was it. She was totally gonna rip off this girl, charger 35 a gram- right after she smoked with her. After getting to her office and sitting behind her desk she grinned. She opened up one of the drawers, getting out a jar of weed then some papers and scissors. “So. Katherine, right? Cute name. Take a seat.~”

            { ♥ } “A-Ah, thanks. I only heard about this in passing, so I don’t know much about it. So, um... What’s your name?” Katherine asked, trying desperately to ignore the items that the girl was pulling out of her desk drawer.             { ♥ } “W-Who, me?!” Katherine yelped in surprise, looking around to see if the girl was talking to anyone else. Upon seeing no one else, the girl got a bit nervous, but she tried to keep her cool. “Oh, uh, no. I’m, uh… A bit of a new customer, you could say. Just heard about this through the grapevine, y’know?”

                         “Soo, what’s your name doll face?” The ravenette purred as she approached the other. She flashed her a little smirk as she stuffed her hands into her pockets. “Ya’ look like ya’ never been around these parts before in ya’ life. How’d ya hear about me, really? Nah- save it. I got a better place we can chat at.” Ash turned, glancing back to motion the other girl to follow after her. She turned back around and lead the other girl right on into her main office. 

            { ♥ } “A-Ah, um... My name is Katherine.” She timidly followed behind the other girl, not really liking the idea of being led somewhere. But she had no other options. “Ah, and, y’know... I just have some friends who wander around these parts, and I heard them talking about it in passing. Nothing too special.”

          { ♥ } Katherine had been assigned to a certain case. She was only a volunteer attorney, but the municipal court she worked under thought it fitting to send her on this mission. She was to investigate mentions of a drug ring in the area. Once she got close to the target area, she took off her attorney’s badge that she always wore, despite how much it pained her to do so. She loved showing it off. Once she got to where she was supposed to be, she looked around the corner, expecting to see some big bad drug lord. Instead, she saw… a girl. Barely older than her. Did she have the right area?

                       Ash leaned against a wall, counting her roll of cash. “Hey. Hey.” She started, getting the attention of two of her goons. “-He shorted me.” She hissed, wrapping the rubber band around the roll of cash before shoving it back into her pocket.“-Go after em. Bring me all his fingers back. and ya’ know, the money he owes, plus interest.” The ravenette scoffed before sending two big gang members after their previous customer. 

                   After the the two had ran off she noticed a girl looking around the corner. How long was she standing there? “-Hey, you.”She started as she stood up straight and started to walk over towards the other. “–Are you here for a pick up?”

            { ♥ } “W-Who, me?!” Katherine yelped in surprise, looking around to see if the girl was talking to anyone else. Upon seeing no one else, the girl got a bit nervous, but she tried to keep her cool. “Oh, uh, no. I’m, uh... A bit of a new customer, you could say. Once she had made it to the car, she started stuffing things in, barely thinking about the fact that she might be crushing a few things. As she did this, she turned her head to the store every now and then, waiting for Ash to come out.

                        ‘Shit. shit. shit.’ She thought as she ran though the store. It was like living a real life horror movie. She grabbed a couple of snacks and things on the way out. She was almost near the door, when she slipped. On blood. 

                         “Fuck!” She squeaked, smacking her back against the ground and laying in pool of blood. She glanced to the body beside her. When it twitched she jumped up, grabbing what she could before jetting out to the car, totally covered in blood. “u-uh.. eh.” She mumbled as she shoved what she had in the back.

           { ♥ } “A-Are you okay?” She asked, noticing that the other girl was covered in blood. “What happened to you after I left?” She said, waiting for an answer as she watched the ravenette stuff things into the car. Everything seemed to be contained in the store for now, so she didn’t feel like they were in any immediate danger.

           { ♥ } “Huh? Why?” Katherine hadn’t seen what had happened, and she hadn’t heard the screams due to the fact that she was listening to music, and had it up way too loud. However, the second she asked that question, she heard the noises of… something. She looked over at the source of the noise, and in that moment, immediately understood everything.

“…Oh.” She said, turning to Ash with a frightened expression. “Yeah, we should go.” She said, shoving as many things as she could into the cart.

                          “You make it around for the door, I’m gonna grab some other stuff. Just fit what you can in the car!” The ravenette chirped as she turned on her heels quickly, heading towards the back of the store. Ash grabbed some nails, baseball bats and duct tape. She’d seen way too many horror movies- but she figured they’d come in handy.

                      Hearing screams from a coupe aisles over, the ravenette stuck her head out wanting to see what was going on. She figured a fight had broken out or something. It was much worse. Ash froze at the sight of blood. She watched in horror as a helpless woman was being devoured - Literally. Someone was eating her. Biting and digging right into her neck. She felt physically sick, trying to hold it together as she slowly turned her head, staring wide eyed at Kathrine. She couldn’t find the words she was looking for, her first reaction was to start shoving things off the shelf into their cart.                                    “–We gotta get the fuck outta here. Pack this thing full and lets g o.”

            { ♥ } Weekends off. A demon whose job it was to make people commit suicide… had weekends off. Because of course she did. “Well, I guess since you’re gonna be hanging around for a while, my first question is, do you have anyone who’s gonna miss you while you’re with me? I mean, I don’t want to keep you from your friends or something.”

                         “Wuh.. Its my job.. and i kind of have to do this.. i mean i barely see my little apartment.Ii mean.. I really don’t have anyone.. My family is dead as well.. even if they were alive its not like i could see them anyways, ya’ know?” Alice frowned, glancing to the side as she spoke about her family. it was hard to even think about. She fidgeted with her skirt a bit before looking back at her counterpart. “So uh. Lets talk about you! I’ll be following you to school and all that! Don’t worry, no one else can see or hear me, just you!”

            { ♥ } “Really? And there’s no one else in your life at all?” What a lonely little demon. Katherine felt bad for her. “Well, I mean... If you wanna talk about me, what exactly do you wanna know? Anything specific?” The girl had a habit of asking too many questions.
