at least from my perspective its the idea that bc they are created from the second comings DNA it made them where their lifespan just doesnt exist and they live forever and they also dont age and stay looking youthful.

Takumi: Transmasc or Nonbinary They/He - Intersex - Pansexual
Preferably i enjoy the transmasc Takumi headcanon, it's been with me from the beginning and it's peak writing for his character. although nonbinary Tkm speaks to me. It's not that deep but maybe he got it from Eito? Eito was like:
"i don't like being inside the social circles of humanity's norms"
and Takumi was like "You can do that? Like you can just not pick? i wanna do that too" he didn't fit in with his mom saying "oh i wish for a daughter" having to prove himself as "guy" that and we often do get inspired from others even our friends or siblings we think are cool and i think he would do something like this.
Takumi doesn't feel strongly about defining their own gender, doesn't feel like going in the "boy" category is right. He's more like: “I don’t know, I don’t care, I’m just me.”
I think because of his mom Takumi feels pressured to be attracted to women.
Takumi would be open to polyamorous relationships with communication.
Eito: Agender - He/they/Ei (Neopronoun Ei) - AMAB - Idemsexual (Takumi-preference)
Eito made his own pronouns based on "He/Him" and his name "Ei" and it's pronounced as "E" - E/em/eir/eirs/e-self) - put as much distance between them as he can. I can't properly ship Eito with anyone else besides Takumi, like i can do it, but i couldn't see Eito sharing Takumi or being with anyone else cause he's only interested in Takumi.
The only exception to this is Retsnom (Darueitaku) and even that has Takumi in it cause Takumi is basically microwaved into his DNA unfortunately. I think Eito wouldn't allow a poly normally but it has to be a specific that would allow it but not partake in it but even then i feel like it's a stretch cause Eito is not sharing Takumi and doesn't want anyone else to touch him. (Outside of Retsnom exception)
Shion: Demiboy - He/him Noun-self identifier "Fire boy" - AMAB? - Demisexual (ace-spectrum)
I feel like with whatevers going on with Shion's gender he himself doesn't fully understand it or feel decided as fully "male" because he is an avatar he created and he created it based on a "boy" maybe? but he also looks pretty so i don't think Shion is fully on "boy" if you get what im saying.
I think Shion would enjoy a romantic connection and intimacy (like kissing) with a person he could be close with. he doesn't see people for gender at all. I think Shion would want to please his partner, but not seek pleasure for himself in that way. He would rather just pleasure his partner and that would satisfy him.
Darumi: Trans Demigirl/Genvoid - She/her Noun-self identifier "Retsnom" - AMAB - Pansexual (lesbian-preference)
Darumi doesn't lean fully towards girl because i see her permanently having Retsnom so she feels like a "girl" but she also feels like no gender cause shes a "monster" but before that she transitioned because she wanted to be a girl (truth route be damned this is her backstory lol)
I think Darumi prefers girls who like other girls, her exception is Takumi. I think she does like Takumi romantically and could like Eito romantically as well (only in the context of Retsnom route) but outside of that she prefers any kind of girl or lesbians.
Yugamu: Demiboy - He/him (any pronouns doesn't care) - AFAB - Pansexual/Omnisexual ("cute" boy-preference, gay)
We stand the headcanon, he gave himself bottom surgery. Yugamu does not care who or what you are. He's here to have a good time. Yugamu is gender. Can be attracted to anyone, he likes people like Gaku or Takumi. A "Cute boy"
You already know Yugamu is open to polygamy.
Takemaru: Cis butch woman or Transmasc - He/Him - AFAB - Gray-asexual (not really sexually attracted to anyone)
Someone said butch Takemaru and i took that and ran. I could see him either just being a man or embracing everything masculine as a women.
Something about Takemaru always told me he doesn't want to get in a bed with someone like that. He would do it if he had a partner but he doesn't really want one.
Hiruko: Trans women - She/Her - AMAB - Pansexual + Demisexual (has a preference for other women but not limited to women)
Before i knew Hiruko's voice actor was a trans women i thought it was a gonna be a plot point that she was a trans women I DONT KNOW WHY I THOUGHT THAT but i just did and i was like "please be a beautiful representation" lol
I do believe Hiruko does like Takumi but i think she would prefer to be with another women. She would make exceptions because of her life goal, i think the idea of her and Eito is funny - hell even Her,Eito and Takumi could work. she can be with men but she just prefers another women.
Hiruko would be open to polygamy
Nozomi: Trans boy - He/Him (Usually goes by She/Her) - AMAB or AFAB - Gray-aro + Demisexual + Bisexual (some kind of preference)
Nozomi doesn't have anything together except herself. (kinda) I don't know how to describe the mess that is Nozomi and his love life.
I like the idea of Nozomi liking and wanting Takumi romantically/platonically a very specific way. Nozomi likes the idea of Takumi but to actually have Takumi she couldn't do it.
Takumi isn't into whatever Nozomi wants which messes everything up for both of them. (Also Eito's existence just kinda screws up everyone's plans) And it's not like Nozomi wants anything bad from Takumi but it just doesn't work out for them cause Takumi wants Karua, he wants that same exact relationship he had with Karua from Nozomi but Nozomi wants a partner and Eito just IS THERE and it messes everything up.
I think Nozomi would be like "yeah im open to polygamy" and try but in reality he is not. At least with Takumi who wants Eito. Nozomi couldn't do it. Not with his crazy ass.
I think she fumbled Kurara trying wanting Takumi and regrets it. Also fumbled Moko but they're still very close best friends. (she's absolutely still friends with Kurara even though they didn't work out)
Kurara: trans girl - She/Her - AMAB - Lesbian

Kurara had a crush on Nozomi but they didn't work out. She's in love with her girlfriend Kyoshika. I think Kurara would say she's open to polygamy but she needs alot of attention and it would be tough for her, they would need alot of communication to make it work.
Kyoshika: trans girl - She/Her - AMAB - Lesbian
Never been in love before Kurara. I feel like she could make an exception for Takumi (cause i think they're cute together Slasher route) but Kyoshika prefers girls.
Gaku: Cis guy - He/him - Gay (questioning)
Gaku believes he's straight but he is not straight, he's just not. He tries to be but he falls in love with Takumi, Yugamu is his awakening and he resist it but now he's questioning it.
Tsubasa: Cis girl - She/her - Bisexual, thought she was straight (boy-preference)
Tsubasa makes mention of her friends all wanting/having boyfriends and i think she genuinely does want one but the idea of Darumi flirting with her until she's like "OK, why not? lets try" and they start dating and she understands everything now.
I also really like Tsubasa/Addamaque
Moko: Cis girl - She/Her - Bisexual, (prefers men)
I think Moko would be happy married to like, the most normal person who is rightfully scared of her. I think she came close to dating Nozomi but Nozomi has a lot of unsolved issues and it wouldn't work. Moko isn't gonna put her friends through something difficult and it isn't that she didn't want to try but Nozomi just isn't ready for all of that.
I think Moko and Nozomi's relationship should stay platonic. But Nozomi has a one-sided crush on Moko.
Eva: Cis women - She/Her - Pansexual (no preference at all)
dont hate me for liking mind broken servant Eva, i just think she is so silly. Like, this is legit wrong but i think because of all the timelines where she is brainwashed it like kinda permanently corrupts her mind to always be broken.
Before that Eva would date a man or a women. I don't think they advanced enough to worry about other genders on this planet because of war so she might not even know what that is but regardless, Eva didn't care before and doesn't care now.
Shouma: Cis boy - He/him - openly gay
Personally i don't think Shouma really likes people at all, he only cares to take care of animals cause animals don't treat him poorly. i think Takumi is his gay awakening, even though he's already gay, Takumi was the only one who was super nice to him AND TAKEMARU, i think Shouma would like Takemaru romantically as well.
At the same time i think he never thought he would ever get a girl and that had him opening his mind to liking boys but "what kind of human being would even like trash like me?" attitude.
Ima: Cis boy - He/him/They/them - gay
They always had him with women at his job but i think because of that Ima would actually prefer to not be with a women. He needs to meet the right person to date and get actually old enough to understand and consider things. (Truth route be damned, Ima is underage, i can tell you his preference but im not going into detail on anything else)
I think Ima would use they/them kinda because of Takumi (brother relationship) but also because he deemed himself not as important that he didn't deserve to call himself a man. But he turned it into a thing because gender is a heavy thing in Ima's life.
Kako: Cis girl - She/Her - figuring it out (might be into girls)
Kako isn't even worried about this stuff right now. I think it would be cute if she had a little girlfriend though. not anyone in the unit but if she found someone her age.
to me darumi is very much the kind of person who can. choose to love someone and i think this is even more true in a way where she believes that people who are strongly invested in her should be rewarded for their time and effort. because if she can make it an incentive then maybe they'll keep caring about her.
this shows most blatantly (and most ugly) in her relationship with hiruko where it's fairly obvious that darumi is playing her dog in the hope for continued sex offscreen and is dependant on the attention. tsubasa also wins her loyalty this way, though i think it's notable that given this is after she was already with hiruko darumi has probably even more deeply internalized that this is how she should covet romantic attention.
but i also think to an extent this manifests with retsnom takumi where her initial feelings are gratitude and a sense of loyalty to him for making a choice that saved her at his own emotional, psychological and social expense. she hasn't known him that long by the time she's making him breakfast and trying to cheer him up.
i do kind of see takudaru as being like. basically canon from her side but in her mind he's too good for her and he likes nozomi and he hasn't given her any signals to the contrary. and she helps him get his friendship with nozomi back because she loves him and her loyalty is with him and not her own desires (which would evidently be to keep him to herself given her lonely jealousy)
to darumi love is loyalty and it's giving the people who give her love what they want so they'll keep loving her. and because she loves them.
she is also vaguely a sex worker so using her body as a currency to maintain a stable life around her is no new idea to her
so for daruei there is absolutely this angle where i think she feels obligated to return his feelings. but i also don't think it would spiral that unhealthily given that she can in fact genuinely choose to love someone so it's not like. fake. and that eito is himself not really the type who will initiate anything on earth ever so its in her lap basically.
but it is a little ick as like, a treat. tf am i talking about-
Eitaku but it's that scene in chainsaw man where Makima holds Denji's hand and lets cup her boob but it's Eito and Takumi and Takumi feels Eito's nip
Eitaku reincarnated as two highschool girls and they lock eyes and remember they were two guy child soldiers who were down bad for eachother but the twist is Takumi is the taller girl with big boobs and glasses and Eito is the flat chested short girl with 20/20 vision and they both are fujoshing out. Takumi now knows what its like to be tall and Eito is a gremlin once he remembers he wants to destroy humanity again but his life and family is good so he has a character conflict
Takumi is too busy geeking out about his boobs because of his fragile masculinity and wondering if he can find his friends and trying to stop Eito and trying to fit into the current life and-
