Cuddling with Leo was an experience, to say the least.
Don’t get it wrong, it was one that you loved. Leo curled around you perfectly, making sure that you felt safe and protected with him. It was just that bothersome plastron that always seemed to get in the way.
Who knew that having what basically was a rock-hard bra attached to your body would cause some problems?
…Well, you did.
It was a tricky thing to try to get around, having to adjust and readjust just to get into a comfortable position for the both of you. While sleepily moving in the middle of the night, you had slammed your head into it plenty of times along with also almost poking your eye out on them. His chest had become a minor hazard to you and something had to be done about it. This had brought you both to a compromise.
Leo would wear a pillow strapped around his chest while you both cuddle. This could satisfy both parties, finally being able to sleep soundly without fear of you getting hurt.
But now Leo would put on the pillow whenever he wanted cuddles, often following you around the house like a kicked puppy if you declined.
It was now one of those moments.
You were packing up to go out for the day to hang out with a few friends and sure enough, here comes Leo, ambling out of the bedroom with the pillow strapped to his plastron. He’s got one of those classic grins plastered across his face.
As soon as he sees you packing though, his face falls.
Your eyes glance over to him before turning back around to continue what you were doing.
You can almost hear the whine growing in his throat.
“I’m going out for the day.” You say, stuffing a water bottle in your bag. “I won’t be back until later tonight.”
Leo stands there, uncharacteristically quiet and you’re just about to turn around to comfort him when he speaks.
“Even after I got my strap on and everything…”
Now that makes you pause.
Slowly turning your head around to look back at him, you can’t hide the shock that’s on your face.
He doesn’t notice you looking at him, instead, he looks pitifully at the ground and there’s some part of you that feels bad for him.
“Don’t ever say that again.”
His eyes catch onto yours and that glint in his eye is back again as he smiles back up at you.
Rottmnt is my favorite show on tv and in the universe. Sadly, Nick has decided to force season two to end early, cut season three and is now only doing the movie on Netflix. If you can please support the show and request it on Netflix! This show needs more seasons!!
