“Well if you were a professor, you should probably learn to leave when a student gets uncomfortable around you.”
“I didn’t know you were uncomfortable. I simply assumed that you were just being a rude little shit.”
“Get away from me you creep.” He said with an annoyed tone, “And I still don’t give a flying fuck.”
“I’m not a creep, but I’m sorry you feel that way. Though you really should be wary of how you speak to me.”
“You’re presence isn’t needed since I’m not sad. So move the fuck along. I don’t even know you.”
“Mad, then? Upset? On the verge of a breakdown?” He paused. “I’m Adrian De Luca.”
“Obviously nothing that concerns you nor will it ever. You could move along.” He mumbled.
“You see, I would, but when I see a sad face, it’s in my nature to figure out what’s wrong. So, you have two options. You can either tell me, or you can deal with my annoying presence until I force it out of you.”
“You’re funny.” He rolled his eyes and covered himself with his hoodie.
“I know. Comes naturally,” he said, taking a seat next to the boy. “What’s wrong?”
“…….” He threw his nachos back into it’s bowl, disgusted with everything in the world. Brooklyn didn’t have much to say, but he sure felt like had a lot of shit to call out.
"Try not to make as big of a mess."
“What about extra credit. That’s a thing right? Something I can do?”
“It is, yes... but there are only certain things that I’ll accept for extra credit.”
“…I really have a bad grade?” He couldn’t deny the fact he’d fallen asleep a few times.
“I’m sorry to say, but yes. However, there are a handful of options for extra credit, if you’re interested.”
“What are you talking about…” Logan’s eyes narrowed in thought. “I don’t have below a C.”
“Oh, I’m afraid you do, Mr. Gates. Perhaps falling asleep in my class isn’t the best method of learning.”
“Unfortunately, you need an A on your final to obtain a C in my class.”
