Flight: PR 2778 ✈️
When I was a child, my parents often points at an airplane up above while me waving goodbye. At that age I always dreamed that one day I’ll be having a chance to ride a plane someday. Wanting to see the view up above the skies made want to go for an airplane ride. That’s why as a child i wanted to be a pilot in the future. It is at that moment when my family planned an outing far away from the NCR. They planned to go to Boracay for a vacation. I was 11 years old at that time and it really made me feel a genuine happiness. Months before we went to boracay, I told my elementary classmates about it and made them feel envy for I was about to experience an airplane ride.
During the day that we were on our way to the airport, I felt really excited and I can’t control the joy that I am experiencing because I’m about to obtain a dream come true. I woke up early in the morning waiting for my family to get up and prepare themselves. I just watched on the television until the time that we are about to go to the airport. When we got to the airport, I felt nervous with a mixture of happiness because my mind is telling me that how if the airplane crashed. I ignored that state of mind and just go with it. I held my boarding pass and just stared at it like this is the moment that I’ve been waiting for. When our flight was announced I stood up fast and naughtily forced my family to stand up fast. We were about to enter the plane, I showed my boarding pass to the flight attendant then walked straight to my seat. Luckily my seat number was beside the window. I explored anything that is within my seat such as, magazines that states the history of the airlines and etc.
It is the moment of truth the airplane is already moving towards the railway. I felt really excited that causes me to tap on my legs. The airplane stopped and it caused me to feel really impatient. I asked my sister why the plane stopped but because she’s annoyed at me because I was so naughty, she just ignored me. By the moment that the pilot just said that we must prepare for take-off, the plane was moving and it flew. When the airplane was up above in the air I closed my eyes because I wasn’t expecting that it would be that fast. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the beauty of the view up in the skies. It really made my heart melt for I was so proud that I was able to make my dreams come into life. I cried a little at that moment because I really can’t believe that it really happened. It was the winning moment of my life.
This experience was one of the best moments in my life. This moment will always be treasured and remembered because it was a dream come true to ride on a plane with my family. We must be patient in achieving the things that we are dreaming of because it will come. You just need to wait and be patient. A dream come true will always be the highlights of an individual’s life.
