Hey, what did Theo get you for Christmas?

A couple of things. The biggest one though was a uh.... I don't remember what he called it but its a blanket that's like.... heavy. To help with sleep and anxiety I guess.

Theo chuckled, finally releasing some of the tension he had since walking in. “Awesome. I’ll be right back, okay?” He let himself out without waiting for a response.

"Yeah she eats like I do," he chuckled in response to Fur. But he ddin't react fast enough as snow left, and just stared at the door for a moment. "Well alright."

Luna sat in the chair again and pulled out a deck of cards. "Let's play something."

"I think…" he sighed. "I’m going to try to get better. From… this shit. That I have. And I think that will help. If you’re…"

He looked down and kicked his feet. “If you’re still interested.”

Theo straightened up, keeping his arms crossed. “I am. Of course I am. And I know you will get better.”

Milo just nodded. "Ok. I don't know how much longer I'll be in here, but I'll keep trying."

Just then there was a knock at the door. The others had returned.

"I don’t know either. I guess, I just…" He couldn’t find a pleasant way to say how he felt that wouldn’t make him look like a selfish asshole.

"I’m sorry."

"I think..." he sighed. "I'm going to try to get better. From... this shit. That I have. And I think that will help. If you're..." He looked down and kicked his feet. "If you're still interested."

"Don’t, ok?" he said, trying to keep his voice as level as he could. "Don’t do this. Don’t pretend like nothing happened, because that’s how it got so bad. We have to actually fucking try, ok, Theo? We have to try not to brush everything under the rug all the time."

His arms were folded tightly across his torso. “I don’t know how else to deal with it. Forgiving and forgetting has worked for me up until this whole ordeal.”

"Well obviously it isn't anymore." Milo sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "We... I don't know. I don't know what you want from me."

Theo simply shrugged, though he was a little surprised at his immediate apology, even when he knew he should’ve expected it. “I’ll blame miscommunication,” he stated tersely.

Snow was very uncomfortable not being the one who was obnoxiously positive. He felt out of place and just wanted to talk to Sunny and get everything sorted out and over with. “Fur, can you take Luna to get a snack or something?” He said, trying to hide his irritation and anxiety.

“Oh, yeah, of course!” Holding his paw out to Luna, he smiled. “Come on, kiddo. I can buy you a whole feast!”

After sharing a few words in Greek, the young girl got up and walked out of the room with Fur. Milo waited until they were gone and sighed. He puts his face in his hands. "I know you're sick of it, but I'm sorry."

He suppressed a grimace as Fur got buddy-buddy when all he wanted to do was disappear.

"Right... apparently... they somehow did." Milo looked at the floor, his guilt increasing every second he was in the same room as Theo. If he looked too uncomfortable though, the nurse would take them away and he missed seeing people he knew. Taking a deep breath, he looked up and smiled. "I'm glad. I missed you all. A lot. Even though you didn't bring me cheesecake dip."

He looked to Fur as he talked, but reverted his gaze to the floor whenever anyone else spoke, feeling extremely unwanted and uninvited. "Sorry we didn’t come sooner," he told the ground.

Luna pulled the chair in the corner over to Sunny's bed and sat down.

Sunny dog eared his page and set the book down. "Well they were saying they couldn't get a hold of... anyone. So..." he shrugged and scratched the back of his head nervously.
